Airforce? Interesting (my career was initially going to be in the Airforce - Until I took 6 months off and discovered my REAL passion). What role/position?

Well, Im a massive dog lover so, I wanna be a security dog handler. Can make the jump to customs from there too If I wanna go back to Civilain world. But Even if I cant get SECPOL (security police) I am gonna go in anyway, as anything, just for job security. I am sick to death of sh1t factory jobs etc. Unfortunately my career options in civilian life are VERY limited cause i was an out of control teenager. Forces offers job security, which is what I want in these times. Pay is good as are benefits. Plus chicks dig uniforms
Just hope I can get in SECPOL, thats the only way to get dog handler positions. Dont think it would look good at my medical if I have what is likely an Illegal substance [In Australia] in my blood! so may have to wait till im in and past initial training....Thats of course IF I even get my bottle.

Whats your real passion?

Mate, I would give ANYTHING to know the answer to that. I love Dogs, but jobs there are limited and sought after. Gym is awesome but here In Aus the pay to work in a gym is pathetic. Thats bout only two things I could think of. I just want a secure, well paid job. Thats more important to me than liking my work. I find it highly unlikely I will EVER have a job i enjoy, but as long as it gives me the freedom financially to do what i wanna do out of work i will be happy

PS I'd love to be a porn star, but that'd be hard to get into in Aus

If that's the case you may want to rethink your AF career decision. A job in Customs won't be feasable if your childhood problems are limiting your civilian career choices.

No, I make the cut. I more meant that i was very uninterested in school as a teenager, hence i dont have the grades for better jobs. I do however make the minimun requirement for SECPOL. YAY! Ironic, I am typing this, just as I head to hand in those very requirements
If customs is out the picture I will just have to stick with AF. Just really want a dog handler position.
