Which products to use for a college D-1 sprinter?

I'm currently sprinting (55m, 100m, 200m, 400m) in division 1 college athletics. Recently i have become very interested in AN's products. After reading all of the FAQ's stickied at the top of the page, i am still a bit confused as to which products will assist me the most in putting on lean muscle mass and taking my performance up to the next level.

The products i am considering are: RPM, Drive, Neovar and IGF-2.

What i am really looking to get out of this stack is more power, explosiveness and speed in my sprints, while at the same time boosting myself in the weight room.

In the past I've been using MAN Clout + BodyOctane, which brings me to my next question: Since Clout and Bodyoctane are actually marketed towards improving athletic performance, would it be possible for me to put together a combo of say RPM, Drive and Clout (as a form of creatine) or should i just stick with the neovar recomped?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

My recommendation would be drive or anything containing an adaptogen herb. Adaptogen will allow you to train more indepth and intense for longer. I would also look into possibly Igf-2 to help with sleep, boosting in the weight room, strength/mass gains.

As for RPM, Drive, and Clout it looks like you are good to go there.

    I don't see any conflicts.

Bulk Citrulline Malate - endurance and recovery
Creatine Monohydrate - strength and explosiveness
Cordygen VO2 - endurance and oxygen utilization

IMO, this would be the perfect stack for a sprinter.

While i do agree with this, i've been using MAN Clout / Bodyoctane for a few months now, which in itself is a blend of Citru Malate / Creatine / Beta-alinine

As far as Cordygen VO2, i'll have to look into this, i know i've tried Cordygen5 in the past, didn't really do much for me, but all the same, i'll do a bit of research on it.

But to be honest i really do want to try out at least RPM and drive, neovar is the only part i'm a bit unsure of, as it seems to be more focused on cutting rather than aiding in performance, ie...dropping my 100m time.

    I'm going to bulletpoint notes:
    * For gaining lean muscle mass - IGF-2 hands down (stacked with NeoVar Recomped)
    * For enhancing/increasing performance - RPM/Drive stack
    * Power, explosiveness, and speed in sprints - NeoVar Recomped, as well as the RPM/Drive stack
    * Stacking all four products (RPM, Drive, IGF-2, and NeoVar Recomped) would give you AWESOME results, and better than just a single stack.

I'm not sure where you got the idea that NeoVar Recomped is "more focussed on cutting". NeoVar Recomped is a CREATINE product (yes, it acts as a nutrient repartitioner and insulin mimic as well, but it IS a CREATINE product). You are a SPRINTER. Sprinting is an ANAEROBIC event (i.e. it uses the immediate and short term energy systems, which rely primarily on ATP, phosphocreatine, and glycogen for fuel). Creatine can enhance anaerobic performance by increasing the rate of phosphocreatine resynthesis during recovery bouts of high-intensity [intermittent] exercise, and can decrease the drop in power production over the course of a session (i.e. the 400m sprint). Creatine supplementation can also allow the anaerobic athlete to train HARDER with repeated high-intensity exercise, and therefore make greater performance gains (Burke, et al., 2006).

And whilst RPM/Drive is a 'performance enhancing' stack, it also aids in increasing defintion (i.e. what you get when 'cutting').

Another note: Whilst Cordygen VO2 may help maximize ATP and help increase strength, the product is more targeted at enhancing endurance performance, maximal aerobic capacity (VO2max), and oxygen ulitization. Sprinting is an ANAEROBIC event, where endurance/VO2max, and oxygen utilization are NOT key components.

I think i'll definitely be buying the smaller size of rpm and drive, however i'm going to look into neovar recomped and IGF-2 a bit further

With the bulk of Creatine and Citrulline Malate you would be able to dose higher. IIRC, some of the benefits of Citrulline malate are dose dependent.. Just something to think about.

Good thing. Definitely know everything about what you take and WHY.

When I was part of the NZ cycling team, I was a track sprinter (well, that ended up being my specialist event/area). It would be interesting to see what using AN products back then would have done for performance (I didn't use any supplements at all aside from a multivitamin, antioxidant, and sometimes creatine when I WAS competing).

I ran for russia, and represented them in the world youth chamionships, and ive recorded 10.66 for 100 metres at the age of 16, wich is still the russian youth record, you can go check it out, levi sharko, or you might have heard of mt brother, european fitness chamion, and former world fitness champion, viktor sharko ,but that was until i got involved with something not so good, that took me off the rails for a while, but i know the best product for sheer power was creatine monohydrate, To be honest back then i never had the access to many supplements, just pylometric training, and creatine.
Now i have a new focus, but i sincerely hope you reach all your goals, what are your times by the way?

very interesting, my 100 time is 10.9 and my 200 time is 22 flat, hoping to really drop these as i was only a freshman last year. Hopefully most of the nerves have calmed, have my first meet in about a month so we'll see how things pan out.

On another note, I just received my new stack of rpm + drive + neovar. I'm pretty excited to get started, however i was wondering, I am actually going to Cancun with a few friends for the week of January 7th to the 14th, would it be worth it for me to start the stack today? (i would be able to get 4 solid lifting days in before leaving)

Also, in regards to neovar recomped and its dosing, would Controlled Labs Golden Finish be an appropriate food / supplement to take neovar with post workout? i realize this is protein and not a carbohydrate, however i've been using Golden Finish for a long time and i truly love what it does for me, any feedback would be wonderful, thanks!

That's up to you. If you were planning on using them in Cancun and doing some training (albeit brief) there, then starting before would be ideal. If not, then start when you get back.

NeoVar Recomped works most effectively when used in conjunction with ~50g of carbohydrate (CHO) post-training. Golden Finish contains both protein and carbohydrate, so it will be fine to use. I recommend having some sort of fruit or simple sugars (i.e. dextrose) with it, though, since it contains only COMPLEX CHO (and only 26g CHO), and it's the simple CHO that are the most quickly absorbed post-training. You would also want to have a proper meal within 30-60 minutes of having your post-workout shake, for recovery purposes.

From what ive heard this stack is solid, you will acheive all your goals, just stay focused, and dont let other people put you off, i am white, and i knew i could never be the best sprinter in the world, and i let that ruin my aspirations, you can achieve anything, and with good supplements you can get that extra motivation needed to push yourself, good times bro, keep working hard.
