Q: If I’m using Nitro, when would I take Storm and Torrent?

A: For best results with the aforementioned supplements take one pack of Nitro along with a serving of Storm, pre-workout. Follow up your workout with another serving of Nitro and then, 15-30 minutes later, have a Torrent shake.

Q: Animal Nitro FAQ #2: How does Nitro compare to whey?

"You really can't compare whey protein and Animal Nitro. You would use each for different reasons. Whey provides basic aminos needed by the body to function properly. In this way, whey is a general supplement. Animal Nitro, on the other hand, is a very targeted supplement. Animal Nitro is more efficient and it can help promote anabolism. It should be used pre- and post-training specifically (though it can also be used throughout the day). According to some unpublished results, researchers noted that essential amino acids were incorporated into protein, not catabolized. On the other hand, when 40g of whey protein was ingested, urea production increased significantly. Urea is the chief nitrogenous waste of mammals. In short, a lot of whey protein can ultimately turn into a waste product, urea, whereas essential aminos are used by the body. Efficiency is one difference. The other main difference is that essential aminos in 'uncoupled' forms can exert specific pharmacological and physiological benefits."

Q: If I perform cardio after weight training, when should I take my Nitro pack— before or after cardio?

A: In this scenario, take Nitro immediately after your weight training, before your cardio to begin the muscle repair process without the ingestion of calories. Immediately after your cardio, follow up with your traditional postworkout shake.

Q: If Animal Nitro is an "essential amino acid" supplement, why doesn’t it contain tryptophan?

Though tryptophan is considered an essential amino acid, as a lifter, you don't need it pre- or post-workout to stimulate anabolism. In these recent studies, tryptophan was not included among the EAAs used. In other words, an EAA supplement does not need to be "complete" (that is, contain tryptophan) to stimulate anabolism among bodybuilders. These studies that looked at EAAs minus tryptophan found that only the other EAAs were needed to stimulate protein synthesis, and create a positive muscle protein balance.

just as an aside, this is an awesome product in pill form, but when it was also Nitro G (now Universal nitro I believe), it was amazing as well. Never sore with this product

Just an FYI............Nitro G has been moved over to the Universal brand and is sold as EAA Nitro. It's at a better price and no longer in packets.

I had seen it advertised, very reasonable as well. Hell of a product.

How does it compare with EAA Stack...? (Addicted to that Juicy Watermelon...)

Taste wise, not as great as the watermelon but it is still delcious. It will give you the carbs and sugras you need after a workout to help spike your insulin levels back up.

Definitely would like to see this product get more love... VERY underated...

I've been running it constantly lately. Have noticed an increased recovery 10 times over.

Training days I take it mid workout and then again with my Torrent.

Off days, I take it upon waking and before going to bed.

The post workout affects of Nitro for me are similar in feeling to a pain reliever. It works that well at relieving post workout muscle soreness for me.
