Retain question

Can Retain be cycled safely at 3 caps a day for the duration of the FX/ Hx2 cycle, or is it best to start off 1 cap a day the first week, then 2 caps the next few weeks, then 3?

Or could I just start out at 3 caps a day the first week and maintain that throughout?

Retain 2.0 is a nice supplement. I've added Relora (tm) to my staple supps and by itself it's awesome. With Retain 2.0, start off with 3 caps a day spread evenly. No need to taper or anything. It's weird that Retain (the first one) had P-Tyramine and made most people wired and gave some f*ed up heart palpitations, and Retain 2.0 gives smooth focus (totally Relora's doing so) and awesome anti-catabolic effects.

thanks man, yeah it didn't make sense to me to taper and start off small. since it's only an anti-cortisol. i was going to dose it at 1 wake up, 1 pre workout and 1 post workout. shouldn't cause any problems.

can you tell me more about Relora tho? im not sure im familiar with that.

Anabolic Xtreme copied the summary data verbatim from the Next Pharmaceuticals webpage. Google Relora and a ton of AMAZING studies will come up for it. In my own opinion, I think a KILLER cortisol reduction stack setup would be this...

2 weeks Retain 2.0
2 weeks Relora
2 weeks Retain 2.0
2 weeks Relora

keep rotating

Get the Relora 250 mg caps for about less than 10 bucks and dose it the same as Retain.... Maybe Anabolic Extreme can chyme in on this... as perhaps I even think you could do a longer term plan like:

3 weeks Retain
1 week Relora

or...

8 weeks Retain
4 weeks Relora

Relora is amazing for anxiety, sleep issues, general stress management, etc. It takes usually 14 days to fully kick in, but it's fantastic! No need to cycle Relora.

you must be pretty good friends w your doc then, eh?

that definitely sounds like a very good idea, something i'd very much want to add regularly to any stack. what would be the main benefits in alternating between the two in such a way?

hey, There should be no reason why you would want to take an r2 pre workout, if you want to take 3/daily, I would do in the AM, PWO, and before bed; those are the times when your cortisol are at its peak. But if you workout at night, then I would do what you are doing.

yeah, well the thing is i generally do lift at night. typically around 8 i get started, so figure my post workout intake of retain is already near bed.

but yo, seriously tho ive foudn that mixin a lil shake of pure cortisol, estrogen w some soy and flax in the mix is almost too dangerously potent for fat burning haha jk

Cortisol is at it's lowest at night, right before bed. Why would you want to do that?

Bro, don't listen to anyone that just kinda throws around advice. Research the claims/statements anyone makes or ask him/her to cite it. If you take Retain 2.0 before you workout, it's not just going to take a hammer to cortisol (temporarily) and then just vanish from the bloodstream... it'll still keep cortisol levels in check during your workout, and then by taking your PWO fast absorbing carbs and protein, you'll be blunting cortisol in it's tracks. Take Retain 2.0 first thing in the morning, another 3-4 hours later, and then pre-workout... or if you workout 3-4 hours later, take the final dose in the evening.

Supposedly if you keep cutting off a lot of cortisol, your body will trip the negative feedback loop and you'll start getting hormones out of whack... I'm so tired to look it up right now... it's just not good to use the B-androstentriol for extended amounts of time. Relora's benefits will remain with continued usage.

I haven't seen a doctor in a very long time actually. Relora is the bomb!

yeah man thats some solid advice. thanks i appreciate that. my initial thought process was that taking Retain post workout would suppress cortisol levels even more since they'd be spiked from working out, but if I dose Retain pre workout then I guess it doesn't really make much sense to take it again after if it's doing it's job.

I'll make that adjustment and dose Retain some point mid afternoon. I generally work out at night.

actually, it seems that the best dosing scheme is pre-workout, post workout and in the morning. The post workout helps with the spike of cortisol that you get immediately post workout.

Hey Mace, maybe you're right. I was under the assumption that the triol and Relora would remain active enough in the blood to control an over-abudance of cortisol ATLEAST until the protein/carb PWO shake was consumed to further seize cortisol... and then the Retain 2.0 can be taken at a different point later on during the day to follow the 'Relora dosing protocol' of, "take 3 caps per day, evenly spread apart."

But Mace is the company rep, so I'd take his advice over his product.
