    Excell and Cutting Macros

I have started a cut and have been using excell. I am being pretty strict on calories and was wondering if technically excell would be counted as 4cal/gram. So one 12gram scoop=48cal? Im wanting to use them for their anticatabolic properties during cardio but want to know also if I should factor them into my calories to make sure im hitting my expected deficit.
