Hey everyone. I got selected to be a logger for Glycobol. I hope this is the right place to start this, if not let me know and I will move.

Basic stats:
19 Years Old
215lbs
5'11"

Weighed 280+ pounds on December 5th, 2010. Got down to 184, and have now gotten back up to 215 (but kind of sloppy). I am extremely carb sensitive, so this is why I wanted to test out Glycobol. My plan is to take 2 pills (1 serving) with breakfast, and another 2 pills with my post workout meal in the evening. On off days I will take my two servings with breakfast and my 1:00 meal. Here is my current diet...On off days, I front load my carbs so I eat the meals in the following order (1, 4, 5, 2, 3, 6).

Meal 1:
2 Whole Egg – 12g Protein, 10g Fat, 2g Carb
4 Egg Whites – 16g Protein
50g Grits or 60g oats or 3 slices Ezekiel Bread – 4g Protein, 1g Fat, 40g Carbs
Fruit – 1g Protein, 15g Carbs

Meal 2:
5.5oz Steak 45g Protein, 8g Fat
4oz Avocado – 4g Protein, 16g Fat, 8g Carb

Meal 3:
5.5oz Chicken – 50g Protein, 5g Fat
1tbs oil (flax, EVOO, Macnut, etc.) – 14g Fat

Meal 4: Pre-Workout
5.5oz Red Meat (Leaner) – 40g Protein, 15g Fat
100g Rice – 8g Protein, 3g Fat, 80g Carbs

Intra Workout:
25g Carbs

Meal 5: Post-Workout
1.5 Scoops Ultra Whey Pro – 33g Protein, 3g Fat, 4g Carbs
100g Rice – 8g Protein, 3g Fat, 80g Carbs

Meal 6:
5.5oz Chicken – 50g Protein, 5g Fat
2tbs Natty PB – 6g Protein, 16g Fat, 6g Carbs

Throughout Day:
6g of Fish Oil Caps

Rough Food Total Values:
Calories – 3093kcal
Protein – 277g – 1108kcal
Fat – 105g – 945kcal
Carbs – 260g – 1040kcal

Took 1st dose today at 8am and second dose at 2pm. Not sure if it was the glycobol, but I was sweating pretty good after my PM dose. Will keep an eye on this.

Nothing super special going on yet...

Yesterday I had a cheat meal and I decided to take a 3rd serving with it and see if it would help. I noticed that I didn't get bloated afterwards like I normally do.

I am also looking into a blood glucose monitor to see if my levels are staying pretty steady.

Some pics from post leg workout yesterday, 216.4 was the weight..

Everything is going great. Not sure if it is the Gycobol or what...but I seem to be holding less water.

8-13-12 Chest/Shoulders

Workout Sets = 14 sets for Chest and 10 sets for Shoulders

Flat DB Press - 100x8, 110x6, 110x5
-Warm-up then keep doing sets of 8 until you get to a hard set of 8. Stay there for 2 more sets for 3 sets total. 100 was too easy, but we don’t have 105s so I needed to jump to 110 and had to sacrifice a few reps.
BB Incline Press - 225x5 for 3 sets, 205x5 for 2 sets
-Work up to a tough set of 5 and stay there for 5 sets. Remember, don’t lockout or touch chest. The 3rd set of 225 was sloppy so I dropped some weight.
Decline BB Press - 155x15, 185x12, 205x9, 225x6 *DS* 135x??
-On that last set, drop the weight and go to failure.
Seated Cable Fly - 14KGx12 for 2 sets.
-Hold the squeeze for 1 second each rep.
Ultra Wide Standing BB Press - 65x12 for 4 sets
-A standard bb press, but your hands should be all the way out on the end of bar. Make sure you lower the bar all the way down to your chest and don’t lockout. Do 4 sets of 12 here.
Partial DB Side Raises - 60x20 for 5 sets
-Do 5 sets of 20. Keep your arms straight and tilt your head back.
Chest Supported Partial Rear Raises - 40x60 *DS* 20x30 *DS* 10x12
-Do a weight for 60 reps, drop in ½ and do 30, drop in ½ again and do 10 full range of motion reps with a 2 second squeeze. Had some extra in me on the final set so I did 12 instead of 10.

Notes:
-Not the best of pumps today until I did the cable flys and the rear raises. I felt a decent squeeze on everything and was pretty stong, but there just wasn’t a pump to go with it.

subbed

its called a glucometer. A former logger VT posted his results and they were amazing

Did something different today and took a dose pre-workout. Didn't really feel any different, but I will try this again once I get my glucometer.

8-14-12 Back/Calves

Workout Sets = 17 sets for Back.

DB Deadstop Rows - 85x10 for 4 sets
-Warm-up with a few sets of 10. Then do 4 hard sets of 10. stretch and relax your scapulae each rep to really get a stretch.
Banded Chest Supported Rows - 2+25x8 for 3 sets.
-Attach some bands and work up to a hard 3 sets of 8. Make sure to explode up or your arms will fatigue too fast. Used two doubled red mini bands.
Stretch Pulldowns - 180x8, 192x8, 204x8, 204x8
-Use a little heavier weight than normal, and use a really wide grip. Only pull it down to the top of your head, and then let it come back up and stretch you. Do 4 sets of 8 on these.
Banded Hypers - 3 sets of 20 with orange micro mini band
Reeves Deadlift/Shrug - 250x6, 300x6, 300x6
-3 sets of 6. Do these explosively and this should transition into a shrug at the top of the rep. Use the EZ bar on these, a BB put my back in a bad spot.
Horizontal Leg Press Calf Raises - 180x30 for 3 sets
-Here you should do 4 sets of 30 reps, but there is a catch. Every 10 reps, hold the contraction for 10 seconds.
Abs - 2 sets "lower", 2 sets "upper"

Notes:

-Still not the best of pumps, but better than yesterday. I have narrowed it down to two possible problems....1) I have been eating my meal 1 hour pre instead of 1.15-1.30 pre. 2) No pre-workout pump product. Going to go back to eating my meal 1.5 hours pre and see if thats it...I bet it is.

The glycobol has been great. I wake up so full it's not even funny. I think it has also helped my carb sensitivity alot. I don't blow up with water when I eat carbs now.

I know exactly what you mean, carbs always bloat me up. I never go abover 120g unless if its my refeed/cheat day :D

120g a day...

6 meals a day that's only 20g of carbs per meal...

He could be following the BBDOTCOM version of Carb cycling with 6 meals and only 3 being carbs or 2 being carbs depending on the time and style he likes...Could be 2 of 60g or 3 of 40g too.

Im glad you feel this on glycobol and I am thinking I feel the same

I used to be able to eat 90-100 carbs at one setting, not anymore. I can do them postworkout but not for breakfast or I feel too full

one occasional high carb day can really help those gains

many loggers have moved in to their dorms this week

what do you notice on the glycobol? I noticed you said you dont feel the bloat you once felt when taking in lots of carbs?

Alright, finally a little time.

So far, so good. Recently switched to a cutting phase to drop some of this fat I have put on. Taking 1 serving pre-workout, and 1 serving post workout. Leaning out a bit on 3100 calories and 260 grams of carbs. Still staying pretty full, but a little flatter then before. Minimal water retention.

Curious to see how Glycobol treats me as I continue getting leaner.

So far so good. Still staying pretty full, even on restricted calories. I don't get blood sugar crashes after a big carb meal like I used to. Thats pretty cool.

Only have a couple more days of Glycobol left :(...but I will definitely be picking more up.
