I personally use room temperature water and a shaker bottle and never have a problem. (Seldom, I use milk or soy milk with same results)

If you use a blender to mix other ingredients. I recommend using a shaker cup first then add crushed ice and other ingredients. Reason being the colder the ingredients the harder it is for the protein to mix.

I recommend when using cold liquids to mix 1/2 scoop first, then the rest of the scoop.
