Optimum Protein Blend vs. Whey Protein Blend?

I'm debating on which I should order. I'm running out of ON Whey & definitely ordering from ATW. It looks like they Whey Protein Blend is ATW's competition for ON Whey but I'm interested in the Optimum Blend because of the Taurine content, as well as the price. It should be absorbed by the body just as quickly as the Whey because it's a mix of WPI & WPC correct? What's a better decision?

Personally, I would go with the Opti... The blend is our generic product and does not have the extras that Opti has. as you can see on the website in nutri facts. But I will defer to my BB experts here - Regardless of what you decide, use my coupon AND be sure to write Laura in comments.

I was comparing the nutritional facts of both and it looks like the amino acid content of the whey blend tops the optimum in every category except for the taurine... although, not by a significant amound for any one value.
It's a hard decision.. I have bulk taurine at home so I'm not really sure what to do... but I doubt I will be disappointed with either

It's a win win decision. You're going to make a good decision either way. Good luck.

Here is why I would opt for the Opt version:

Yeah.. I figured either one would be all good but I wanted to see what others would recommend.

I'm glad that I got the Optimum blend because I've had good results with taurine in the past preworkout.

I also can't wait to try a different flavor other than the pounds and pounds of ON double chocolate and rocky road that I've been stuck with  . I ordered chocolate mint & pineapple  Looking forward to those samples too Laura :)

Nicely done - I will follow your order personally - did you write Laura so I can see it?

Yup. It should have been done right. I went by what you told me in the email. Thanks again

What a helpful thread. I was looking to try ATW products and it seems like everyone has good things to say about it. I think I am going to go with the the Opt Blend as well. Anyone tried any other ATW products that they liked?

Not a problem =)

Well, I graduated last year from college and working 10-12 hours a day has ruined any chance of exercising I had. I have started heading back to the gym in the morning and I definitely want to get the Opt Blend as an after workout meal/supplment. I am generally looking to lose body fat and get my toned body back.
I am kind of new to the whole supplement side of things but I am always willing to try stuff out and see what works.

Thanks for your help.

Well - even though we are in the supp business - it is still important to get much of your protein from food!!!!

That being said, I would go with the Opti to start taking shakes and I would include 60 free caps of L-Glut. This is good for muscle soreness and SOME believe that it reduces cravings for sugar/sweets.

That is just my personal opinion and I welcome any one else's thoughts for our newbie.
