Mixing my Whey

Well today I got some samples from Lovely Laura, The Whey Vixen. I mixed chocolate and vanilla blend. This was after I made my bedtime casien drink and scraped the blender with a spatula. I didn't bother rinsing it out, the chocolate MPI wouldn't be a bad mix with the whey anyway. Well, after blending it, I tried it and it came out kind of "tacky" real sticky like if you know what I mean, but really thick too. I'm not often able to get whey this think, but if I do and let it sit just for a little bit it seems to separate, the same goes for the MPI. The thing is this stuff was really thick and tacky, and sticky like. There is really no point to my story, just wondering if anyone elese had the same experience or why my protein turned out this "whey"...hahahaha
 
Why is casein so hard to blend with water or milk? I've never had grainy milk before and since casein's in that I know it can disperse somehow.
 
Casein never mixes completley, I forget the exact reason why. I like to measure the quality of the casein by its mixability, the worse it mixes the more casein there is.
