Sample Packs

Just wanted to tell everyone that they have sample packs with all the flavors. Great purchase before getting a 10lb bag.

Got mine in today and rushed to try the orange, and it is dreamy good. Protein isn't supposed to taste this good. I'll followup in a few days when I've tried them all.

Ok, so here's my followup. I really love them all. You can't go wrong here. I was skeptical of the flavor because the powder is very cheap, but I was suprised. They have my business on all my protein from now on.

Yeah I got this too. I'll have a detailed review of all 6 flavors in a few days.

Got the sample packs, wanted to give a little feedback. Mixability was okay, not great, flavors were very subtle, Vanilla tasted alot like ON Vanilla, which I don't like at all but is very popular so most should like this flavor. Chocolate is the best flavor IMO, and I can't imagine anyone drinking alot of the Banana (and I love Banana's). Overall, for the money all the products are good deals and ATW seems to be an honest company so it's nice to support the board. If you like ON flavors ATW is a better deal. If you are like me and like LC Grow (I know, Biotest) then I'd purchase the sample packs before making the decision. P.S. Orange was good but I just couldn't drink orange protein all the time. All shakes were mixed in water. Just wanted to post an honest feedback. Peace

Low Carb Grow, which is very unique to me in texture and taste for protein powder, and I've tried probably 15 brands. I would say your protein is in the top 1/3 in taste you can't beat the price (for comparisonGrow is like 23 bucks for 2lbs of blended powder with micellar casien).

Hi,

We aren't talking about the same class of products. The Biotest is an mrp with more fat and carbs, which allow it to taste better. Ours is a protein.

I understand your point but Low Carb Grow has 20p/2f/3c per serving, so I don't think thats it. I just think it's a flavor thing. The purpose of my review wasn't to put your product in a bad light at all, and I don't think I did. I do think protein reviews have a tendency to say things like "I love it" and "Tastes real smooth" and generalities. If I want to know how a new hamburger chain tastes I'd prefer to know if it's more like a Quarter Pounder or Whopper. Both are nice just different, tell I'm cutting huh??? BTW, you may have looked at regular Grow when checking out the micro profile, it is an MRP for sure. Thanks for taking the time to care enough to answer threads, it shows alot about your company.

Hi,

I didn't think you put us in a bad light, probably the opposite. Thank you.

1 g. is almost life or death in our business. 1 g. is very expensive, and has a substantial impact on quality.

1 g. has a substantial effect on taste.

I do agree that adding 1-2g of flavoring can turn something that is tasteless into something great.

Personally I absolutely LOVE the Banana. Already 2 people here at work are sold on it too. One guy I share my office with and he ran out of protein one day and asked if he could have a scoop of mine. When he drank his shake he said "holy crap this is actually GOOD! I would drink this even if it weren't full of protein." A guy two doors down even ordered it because of the taste. He doesn't care about protein, he just wanted some kind of snack to have. He tried a scoop of Banana Blend with some skim milk and now he's hooked on the stuff. He ordered some Strawberry and told me that's good too. So that's what I'll be trying next.

I tried Vanilla as well, but I found the flavor was actually too strong for my tastes. I like very mild vanillas. However I know a number of people are big fans of vanilla, and they would probably really enjoy it.

Also going to try orange. I wonder how it would taste if mixed iwth orange juice. I normally have a glass of OJ with breakfast, and if I can add a scoop of protein to the OJ that would be great.

Hi,

If applicable, you can use more liquid for the vanilla.
