Don't let knee problems sideline you

There are many popular joint supplements on the market; the most popular are simple NSAID's (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) such as aspirin and ibuprofen. The problem with these drugs is their huge lists of risk factors associated with their use, especially long term. This is again another reason why natural supplements can come to be significant players in the joint pain relief market.

I know what you're thinking...who cares if your popular on the internet? IRL (in real life) is what matters! What's interesting is that to many it does matter. Finding a social arena that includes people of similar interests and experiences is what social networking is really all about. And what's more extreme than bodybuilding? Not much. Which means finding people like yourself may be more difficult IRL than it seems.

Testosterone's Impact on Lifespan

Full Post Here: Invalid Link Removed

Nearly weekly there is a new research review, commentary, or opinion published in research on the topic of testosterone replacement. One of the many debates includes it's impact on the various diseases in men that are seen throughout life. Overall it's been unclear if testosterone replacement increases or decreases the lifespan of hypogonadal (leads to chronically low testosterone) men.

[h=3]Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) Prohormones Part I[/h]

Invalid Link Removed

There are many prohormones, but there are only a few that convert to 5α-dihydrotestosterone or more commonly known as DHT. DHT prohormones are not designed to pack on a ton of mass, but they are useful when stacking them with other mass builders. DHT prohormones increase aggressiveness, improve libido, promote a positive energy balance, and have a known “hardening” effect. For these reasons it is often why they are stacked with other compounds that reduce libido, cause lethargy, or if their overall goal is hardening up. DHT administration also produces a mild, but noticeable effect by decreasing serum estrogen levels (Invalid Link Removed).

DHT Prohormones – Epiandrosterone & Androsterone

One of the most popular DHT prohormones is known as epiandrosterone, or sometimes androsterone, depending on the synonym and isomer used. This is a two-step prohormone that starts by converting from its initial form to 3α-Androstanediol or 5α-Androstanedione, and then to DHT. Within this process exist two critical enzymes known as 17β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (17β-HSD), and 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3α-HSD)(Invalid Link Removed).

"Dairy Makes you Flat"

Dairy is one of those controversial bodybuilding foods. There has been published research showing things like milk do a great job stimulating protein synthesis. At the same time, in the trenches of bodybuilding, dairy is often one of those food choices that is absolutely avoided during and close to a bodybuilding competition. This is because many claim dairy produces a "smooth" or "flat" physique even at low bodyfat levels. Others debate this fact and simply think it's an issue of getting leaner.

Opinions....everyone has one. But here are two of the best in the business...
