Long time no see (or post)
Hi again board, I've been out of the scene for a while (lots of work and school) and almost ready to get my a** back in shape. I have my 8 week FLA muscle building program from a couple of years ago, or whenever that was, and picking it back up next week.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi again - lots of new people in this board now.

Tell me about it.
I'll hitch a ride on your Back in the loop bus".

Welcome back man! I'll take a seat on that bus as well.

Our thread starter could tell you that.
IF HE WAS REALLY BACK IN THE LOOP!!!

Now I've got ..again !
It is one of those mystery routines that haven’t been done before! Humm!
It has all been done before! There isn’t anything new in building muscle!
Eat Right and hit the steel!
Tell me one new concept in BB’ing?
Everyone want to make BB’ing complicated and try to sell you some new concept or sup.
I’ve been at it for over 40 years, and it hasn’t changed a bit! Not one bit. Except for some of the new gear.
Nutrition, Nutrition, Nutrition……………….
Lift, Lift, Lift ………………………
And then take some time off.
Then start all over again.
Am I right?
Rock On !

About that part yes. Without sound training and nutrition aplication, little is possible.Originally Posted by Hot Rocks

I would say a lot has changed.

Could you give me some examples of the advancements? However, don't under estimate the advancements made in the sciences of training, nutrition, and supplementation....
I would say a lot has changed.
Please elaborate on the training advancements.
I would really like to know what has changed specifically in that area
10-09-2006, 06:28 AM
Listen, Do you remember the days of the cybergenics kits? The Origional HotStuff? Before those it was pretty much just nasty tasting proteins liver tabs, amino acid pills, and lets not forget SIMILAX!! Now that was cutting edge ****.
...And I will not elaborate on the advancements in training over the last what was it? 40 yrs? You obviously havn't educated yourself or kept up with the science. Mabey you should spend some time in the training forum.... :clean:

Keep Cool Dude!
I ask you a simple honest question, based or your personal expertise and your previous reply and you come back with nothing but flames!
I wasn't trying to put you against the wall, but you reacted as if I had.
Which, implies to me that you don’t know?
What else could I think?
Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?
"You obviously haven’t educated yourself or kept up with the science"
Again! An assumption on your part. You know what they say about assuming.
I’m not going to spout all my personal accomplishments or my educational expertise in the science of nutrition and training just to satisfy your derogatory remarks .
Hey! I don’t want to keep this bickering going so I will drop it at that.
Oh! One more question (If you don’t freak out).
Isn’t the board to share knowledge? If so! Then what was wrong with my question if I may ask?
If I was out of line in my question I apologies.
I thought it was a fair question nevertheless.
Rock On !

If that seemed like flames, then My apolligies. I realize the cynicism of my initial response could have impressed that. I'm like that sometimes.Originally Posted by Hot Rocks
And as for the training thing, I just don't have the time of energy to elaborate.
So you want to be friends now??
10-09-2006, 10:12 AM
No Problem! I need all the friends I can get.
I'm a building contractor here in Gainesville,Fl.
And you being in the construction field you know that you have to get a little pissy with the crew almost every day just to get them up off there asses.
And that pissy attitude pours over into the rest of our life if we are not careful.
So I defiantly understand.
I have to watch myself or people take me wrong as well.
Thanks a lot for your reply. This is a great board with very knowledgeable people.
I like to hang out with people smarter than myself. It makes me look smart as well.

Here goes, starting log - took weight Sunday morning:
Start weight: 168 lbs on empty
Flab around the waist - no good!
Diet: FLA (Bobo's) Deluxe Muscle Building Program
I'll do my best to post weekly updates every Sunday morning.

End of week 1 stats
Weight 169 lbs (on empty )
workouts were fairly light.
11-19-2006, 02:42 PM
Do you have some specific goals as far as stats?
11-25-2006, 08:48 AM
Goals are to get back in shape and get some muscle this winter. My long term goal is to get in the neighborhood of 200 LBS without the flab, but for this winter, if I can get to 180 without the flab I'll be happy.
11-27-2006, 06:46 AM
End of week 2 stats
Weight: 171 lbs (on empty )
Gradually increasing intensity.
I'll start taking pictures next week and post them every 2 weeks.
