Thanks and Happy Belated Father's Day to all it applies to!

So today the news is that i have had my MRI and the tech hinted that she saw what she needed to see. Implying that she saw a tear or that is how it seemed to me. I have to set up my follow up going to try for Wednesday I think. I have my images here and they look like I might have a tear just by looking at the images and images of other MRIs that had partial tears of the biceps tendon and comparing them.

Jo's Endoscopy went well, however they did not find anything. He said this like he is happy with it however if it is IBS and isn't getting better with treatment how is that good news that you didn't find something you could fix? The doctor was like the good news is there is nothing wrong this won't kill you just makes things uncomfortable. I kind of got a little bit terse with him as if to say well you need to figure out WTF you are gonna do to make her feel better. He said there are other medicines but he can't give them to her unless she gets off some of the other meds they have her on so now we have to play the medicine change game.

Hopefully we can move some of the meds around and find something that works.

Yah can't figure if that's good news really, it's better than bad news I suppose but more like no news. I would be stressed :(

Completely stressed on that end. I really don't know what else to do. We are going to go ahead and start limiting whole grains and what not. It won't be a full on Celiacs diet but will be less whole grains and what not since they are inflammatory whether you are gluten sensitive or not. If we can just get the symptoms under control we would be ecstatic.

Did they check for colitis? Specifically collogeneous like I have? It's common in women more so then men especially at her age. And unless the Dr is looking for it it's target hard to find from my understanding.

I know they looked for signs of Colitis and Chrons when they did her Colonoscopy and didn't find anything. He said there is nothing visibly wrong going in from either end. Just inflammation.

Got cha. I had a VERY small spot that was inflamed. There was actually a bile pocket in that area and if it hadn't been there the Dr said it would have been almost impossible to see.

I hope they can find something that will either cure whatever she has or at the least treat it. I totally understand what she is going through. I dealt with ten to twelve bathroom visits a day for over a year and I know how hard and frustrating it can be.

Also now that I think about it. My mom actually just came down with something that sounds very similar. I can't remember what she said they called it but, it had to do with eating something that had been contaminated. Same symptoms for the last two weeks.

Crazy stuff, she has been sick for at least 6 months now. Her colonoscopy and endoscopy look so clean at least the pictures of it we saw there is nothing to see. Going to keep hoping for a change and trying diet things. See what we can do to assist getting inflammation down. Right now the IBS meds are keeping the diarrhea at bay, but does nothing for her ability to eat or keep things down once eaten.

Yeah me too, however it seems the wife is being sent back to our PCP, the specialist said to work with her on medications for the IBS to keep from causing any contraindications. So he is pretty resolute that that is exactly what this is. Said it is 60% of his business now just diagnosing this for sure then passing on to the PCP as there is nothing special he can do that the PCP can't do for less. ----------------

I am trying to figure out ways to flex my pecs against some resistance so I don't lose all my hard built muscle. Not the easiest task... I can simply flex my pecs which may be what I have to settle for just to keep them getting plenty blood and a pumps but will not stress the muscle fibers like real resistance training would. ------

I tried to do some straight arm crossovers with very light weight yesterday and it became obvious quickly that i can not do those either. Right now my upper body just isn't going to be getting worked very much. Completely sucks but what else am I going to do. That being said I have really slacked off on the gym recently. Hard to get in there to do basically nothing. Even leg work is limited to machines so I am having a hell of a time motivating myself to leave my wife's side for what will inevitably be an exercise in going through the motions. I lifted legs twice last week but that was it on gym time. Trying to get myself motivated but having a hell of a time right now. For one I just feel bad leaving Jo alone at home when she feels bad all the time and spends most of her time in the room so the kids don't have to see her in pain or almost debilitated by the medicine.

Yep and these Transdermals are off the chain.

You will not find another product on the market offering the same amount of ingredient per bottle. Our TransForm will have 60ml more product then Formeron for $1 more. Pretty awsome deal. The DermaTr3n is nicely dosed at 30mgs with 90 servings. Our TR3ST has been tested as the purest on the market right now and is dosed higher than any competitor. On top of that we will have the first ever Transdermal Laxogenin!!!! You just have to love the way Olympus is doing big things!!!!

Apparently Laxogenin has actually been used to help with cancer treatment & other diseases? Sounds like all safe, positive, natural effects from the little I've read on it.

Kleen - do what you need to do, brother. Fam always first. Try not to despair; your wife has a tough enough time & your POSITIVE support will be the best medicine she can get. I know when stuff is going terrible it's the hardest thing to keep your chin up, but try to remember that we don't pick the hands were dealt, but how we choose to play them is always our own.

The weights will be waiting for you, & muscle memory will be there for you when the time comes.

DreamWeaver yes DermaStr3ngth / STR3NGTH = laxo is very mild and not suppressive in anyway. It also does not need cycled. I am about to be running an OSTAR1NE and DermaSTR3NGTH recovery log along side the MI40 2X program starting the 11th of July. The MI40 X2 should keep the weights pretty reasonable for my biceps I imagine i will have to modify a bit during recovery but the Osta should help quite a bit and the DermaStr3ngth should be somewhat beneficial in increasing protein synth which can only help to repair the muscle as well.

Once I have the stuff in hand I will start a new log and link it up here.

Until then I am doing moderate workouts more circulation and pump producing workouts to keep the weights down. I am using lighter weight as a de-conditioning strategy so that I can start making progress at lower weights as when i begin the program.

Also I got my lotion from the compounding pharmacy, pretty legit stuff! Has some muscle relaxers, prilocaine for pain, and a localized corticosteriod for inflammation. I put it on and 15 minutes later no pain at all.

Sounds like a great plan DW! I am gonna just keep on training and I may do a show in a year or so. Not pushing through on the biceps, just not worth it too me at this point. For now just gonna keep recreational bodybuilding and if I decide at some point to get back on stage I will.

I did just order a bunch of peptides to help the healing process including some MGF and some BPC 157 which is supposed to be pretty damn amazing for helping healing.

Sounds a lot like the cream I had made up years ago when playing football. Wish I could remember the name of the stuff. Worked extremely well. Side note where did you get your peptides from?

Okay guys, I am back from the dead, or should I say Austin! Was a great trip and just what I needed to release some stored up tension. My biceps is still recovering which is good. Has had a good bit of time basically a month of light workouts so improvements are coming.

Of course to carry on with my string of pain, I sprained my pinkie tossing the football around on Friday. The swelling is almost gone and the bruising is now just a faint yellow between my ring and pinkie finger. Hurt like a mofo to try to curl something yesterday but it is getting better by the day so I know it will be good to go by Friday when I start my primer week for MI40 X2.

In other news I have been afraid to sprint for a while since my sciatic flared up but i did a few impromptu sprints while playing and found that my explosiveness was still there and more importantly it did not hurt my lower back sciatic or hamstring. That is a major plus.

As of Friday I will start the primer week for MI40 X2 training and Monday I will start the Nutrition Primer which is a week long cleanse. Then the following Monday I will start the actual MI40 x2 program and see if my biceps can hold up to it since it uses lighter weights.

Haven't you noticed the more you train...the more likely you get injured outside the gym? It's like we learn the signs to prevent injury in the gym only to have some random accident that slows down our progress.

We have complete control of what we do in the gym. That's why there is good longevity in bodybuilding when done smartly. It's that smart part the gets tough sometimes :(

Yeah I am pretty excited! The diet is going to be pretty intensive and detailed. Training looks awesome obviously but this diet I bought for it is pretty wild. I plan to try to have pretty much 100% adherence to it. I may have a scotch or something here or there and in a few portions of the diet there are cheat days and cheat meals so those will be nice.

Absolutely more injury / safety aware at the gym. However my sciatic was actually due to resting... go figure. Even now if I stop doing lower body intensely for a while things get wonky in my lower back and hips but if i keep training no real issues.

Exactly that is the place we pay the most attention to it because it is more dangerous. By the way DOug, you might want to think about investing in the program, it is really up our alley regarding safe progression and keeping the joints safe. He is all about longevity and the only trainer i know who is actually working with Universities doing Hypertrophy research.

Did a nice little upper body circuit on Monday and feeling pretty good, going to do a light leg workout tonight then Friday will be the first workout of the Primer week. I will be using about 60% of my 1 rep max to teach myself the movements.

Friday will be Back / Shoulders / Biceps, 60%
Saturday will be Chest / Triceps, 60%
Sunday will be Legs, 60% - Start 7 Day Cleanse
Monday off,
Tuesday Back / Shoulders / Biceps, 80%
Wednesday Chest / Triceps 80%
Thursday Legs 80%
Fri / Sat/ Sunday OFF - Complete 7 Day cleanse
Monday Start actual MI40 X2 program and diet.

Sounds interesting I will do some reading. I know with experience we discern a lot about hypertrophy from the way we feel but it would be damn interesting to see it in a studied environment. My training is geared towards the same principles like you said... up my alley. I know it works cuz well I haven't been injured bad enough to make me miss a workout in a long fuggin time :) (knock on wood) I still think sometimes I push too hard and am often working around a lot of small injuries.

Certainly, we all push a little too hard but that is part of who we are, being driven like that is what makes us strong. Doing it as smart as possible, that is where we have to try and hang out.

Okay guys here is the new log. I have half the product for it so far and am going to go ahead and kick it off to reinvigorate myself with the newness of it. I am sure we will be back here afterwards unless I am running another log right after.

I like single malts and blends when it comes to scotch depends on my mood. I haven't decided on a scotch to call mine. Still tasting all of the different ones but I really like this one The Balvenie it is a 12 Year Single Malt Double Wood, the double wood means it was aged in 2 different types of wood. Then of course Glenfiddich and The Glenlevit

Now a nice blend that is very reasonably priced is this one. I had a guy at SPEC'S convince me to try it even though it did not cost that much. I was really surprised with how good it tastes. Make sure to get the Extra Premium Label 5 not the regular Label 5 there is a difference. The Extra Premium is 12 year and better quality for sure. Stuff is amazeballs with 3 full ice cubes and 3 fingers worth of scotch, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and commence sipping.

ON the single malt front, with you on the Glenfiddich and The Glenlevit. 12-15 years..

I am a Canadian Whiskey guy more than Bourbon. Howevr Knob Creek is a very nice bourbon. Crown is and was my first love regarding alcohol. Will always hold a place for me. I really enjoy this Canadian Whiskey though, it is aged in a maple barrel and tastes great with just a hint of maple. Not like the Crown maple that stuff is disgusting it is more like a schnapps than whiskey basically tastes like someone pourded maple syrup into Crown. Not okay.

If you havent tried this one and like Canadian Whiskey it is very good.
