New Weight Lifter - when is the best time to eat (pre or post work out)

I'm a beginner - not going ott, just 20/30 mins 3 or 4 times a week. Whens the best time to eat?

I've established that my whey shake is best taken pre AND post. But what about food assuming I'd work out morning (breakfast) or eve (evening meal).

Before, after or makes no diffrence. Any tips?

Very simply, eat an hour before you train. postWO shake after you train. Eat again about an hour after that shake.
