4:3 on:off carb cycling

  1. 4:3 on:off carb cycling


    If Iím carb cycling, training 4 days a week and making my 3 rest days low carb days, should my calorie intake on those rest days be [TDEE - 500] or [maintenance - 500] ?

    Training day calories are going to be maintenance and Iíll be having a refeed once every two weeks at first.
    Iím currently at ~12% body fat

    Subtract 500 from TDEE or maintenance?

    I’m confused because I feel as if maintenance includes the calories required for a workout and so if I eat according to it on rest days I’ll be in a smaller deficit than I’d thought
