ergolean AMP side effect!!

Motivated by all the recent discussion of AMP, I bought a few bottles and one pronounced side effect I noticed pretty quick after taking the first dose (preworkout) was PERMAGRIN!!!!!

jjohn was right on... this stuff is the crunk. I moved through a whole leg workout like a freak... no negative sides to speak of. highly recommended

god damn thats a lot before working out. When I got a sample from them I just took that (2caps I believe) and I felt wired from just that!

Heh, I get wired from one cap. I was getting samples from Ergopharm and taking two initially, but I feel it doesn't give me much more than one cap. I guess the lower the better. Plus I only take it maybe twice per week. If I sleep well, there's no need for any go pills.

The only thing that concerns me is that my resting heart rate gets up to 90 bpm quite often. This is a recent development too. Not sure if it's related to AMP, as apparently some amphetamines take a while to clear the system. Or it could be my albuterol inhaler (I'm asthmatic). I'm getting things checked out tommorrow with my pulmonologist anyway.

So how does this stuff compare to good ole ephedrine? Does anyone know what I'm talking about when I refer to "pissing glass"? It's a side effect that some of us got from ephedrine. If anyone here has had that feeling when taking ephedrine - and has tried AMP without it, please let me know. I'd love to be in that high-energy mood without having to worry about urinating.

I find that ephedrine is quicker acting and helps me breathe better.
Amp is slower to come on but I can concentrate on the task at hand, where as ephedrine gives me a more "stupid high"( with some tremors)...I have a better overall mood with AMP, with no "dribbling" effects. It takes me along tome to build a tolerance to ephedrine (25 years and counting!), were as AMP requires me to increase the dose after about 3 days.

...about the 25 years on, I have had no problems staying on for 6-12 weeks and then off for 15-30 days for the the last 25 years.

Exactly.. I will stock up for sure. That sweet feeling... Just like if you are focused to work, and once youre done, can blow everything up at the gym. So nice!!!

I've been using Amp on and off for several months now. The thing that a lot of people have been noticing is the speed at which one develops a tolerance for it. For that reason, I too only use it twice a week. I use an E/C stack the rest of the time. Personally, I prefer to use Amp for lifting and E/C for cardio. I'll pop three caps an hour before the more intense workouts during the week; it's a great feeling. Hope it doesn't get banned!

No pissing glass here either. When taking amp I felt more focused and concentrated on my workout. Where I wasn't able to push out extra reps when I am tired, I was able to push out a few more. Also sometimes in the gym, I found myself thinking about s*** that is irrevelant to what I am doing. On amp, I was always focused on my workout and had great workouts on that. When taking ephedrine, it kept me energized throught the whole day and workout. Breathing was easier and sweating increased. The only thing I don't like about amp, is the fact that you can't take it everyday because the effects will diminish and that the effects where off a couple hours after taking the pills. As with ephedrine, it lasted all day(taking more pills possibly). Amp is a good product and I would suggest it to anyone who feels they get "laxidazicle"(sp) in the weight room.

The thing I liked about Amp relative to Venom/StimX is that Amp didn't KILL my libido.

I don't know if they changed the Ergolean AMP formula, because based on this thread I was half-expecting to take some and feel like Bill Clinton was right there beside me playing the saxophone while I repped out my squats, instead, I got nothing.

That was with 2 caps on an empty stomach pre-workout.

I'm going to try 4 caps tomorrow and will update then....

Yeah, I haven't taken any or bought any for a while so I'm not sure if they have reformulated it. I have been trying to limit my stims to just a little caffeine everyday and some RPM once in a while

How about something to further enhance the euphoria and focus? It's great as it is now, but I presume more could be drawn out.

Years ago, BrooklynJuice (RIP) supposedly had some other ingredient that would really make the euphoria hit but he didn't tell anyone what it was...

Might experiment with taking the Cocolean out (or lower the dose).

Any chance at a Clear Shot pill?
I tried one serving (still have the other) - it's good stuff. More like the first bottle of Amp I had back in '05.
But - it tastes AWFUL.

Patrick, thank you for your response, I might give clear shot a try then.

However, I did try uping my AMP consumption to 4 caps 40min pre-workout on an empty stomach and still, I did not feel much. If anything I felt slightly more "positive", but the effect was very subtle.

I haven't taken any other stims for months, and I don't drink coffee or beverages with caffeine in them regularly. Is it possible I am just a non-responder?

FYI - I respond very well to ephedra though in case that helps any....
