Add forskolin to cutting stack?

Found an old bottle of forskolin that I hesitated to take last year after hearing rumors of it causing bitch titties. Has anyone ran it with their EC stack successfully without negative effects? Currently running a EC/reduce xt/alphaburn stack and wouldn't mind throwing something else in

Only thing forskolin causes is to upgrade your toilet brush. But yeah, it’s fine with an EC stack and I hope it’s F95.

I run 100mg F95 with no issue. Just start low and work your way up. If you have gi discomfort the first few days take with food.

I remember when forskolin was new and all the rage. What’s the verdict on this stuff now?

The general consensus is that it is a good addition for cutting (improving body composition), but it sends some people to the toilet, particularly if they're taking a lot, especially at one time, a low % standardization (which means a higher mg dose), and/or taking it without food.

Ok, that’s pretty in line with the info I’d had. Thanks.

Lol.
I can handle 50mg/ed without any problems.
My toilet hates me if I increase the dose.

Agreed with this. Stack it with reduce xt and let the leaning out begin!

Y'all weren't kidding about the stomach issues. I popped 100 mg last night with my protein shake. Had to wake up really early this morning to take my girlfriend to the airport and almost made her miss her flight after pulling over at a gas station. Talk about hershey squirts

Forskolin is great, if you can handle it. What extract is the product you are using?

If you had issues, try 25 mg for a few days, assuming you are using 25 mg caps. Then work your way to 50 mg for a few days, and continue. Do not rush it. Here is some good reading on the ingredient.

Forskolin increases metabolism, burns fat, breaks down triglycerides, and increases lean-body mass
The thyroid stimulating strength of forskolin has been compared to TSH (thyrotropin). Thyroid hormone levels are important for leanness.
Forskolin has increased total testosterone by 16% in male subjects during a 12-week trial.

Fat Mass:  The colforsin group lost 4.52 kilograms (9,94 pounds) of fat, plus or minus 5.74 kilograms, while the placebo group lost only 0.51 kilograms (1.12 pounds), plus or minus 1.91 kilograms.
Lean Body Mass:  The colforsin group gained 3.71 kilograms of lean body mass (8.162 pounds), plus or minus 4.07 kilograms, while the placebo group gained 1.57 kilograms (3.45 pounds), plus or minus 2.56 kilograms.
Testosterone:  The Testosterone of the colforsin group rose 33.7 percent, while it decreased 18.35 percent in the placebo group.

The total body weight of a mixed group of men and women in a 12-week study decreased from 74.7 kilograms to 73.5 kilograms while experiencing increases in lean body mass (without weight training).

Great info, thanks! I'm using PES forskolin, which is 95%, in 50 mg caps. Took another 100mg with lunch today and so far so good. Maybe the first doses strong reaction was just my body getting used to it.

the whole t3/t4 conversion thing on Coops Corner writeup on forskolin made me think maybe It seems to work behind the scenes and not that strong just like l-dopa does in regards to thyroid production, according to Coops corner. lol. I wonder if its wise to use this while coming off t3. Does it artificially suppress thyroid the way t3 or t4 would and thyroid levels have some time to adjust back to normal?

I personally use the 20% extract and have no issues after a break in period. I just do 50mg/day so 120 days worth for about 15 bucks is worth it IMO. Slight leaning effects and a healthy product with no side for me. I have pubertal gyno and this does NOTHING to it at 50mg/day.

So the lower the %, the more likely it is to affect gyno?

What? NO. The lower the extract the more likely it is to cause the GI issues.
Okay that makes sense. I just ask because it seems the only people who have brought up gyno issues in other threads are people on lower %s.

Based on everything I've stumbled across though, it just seems like an impact on gyno from forskolin only comes about when the person had a prior issue rather than creating one by the forskolin itself. And even then, staying below 100mg is highly unlikely to create issues as long as you are taking natural supps at the same time.

Peoples fear of gyno borders on hysteria these days. 20 years ago and beyond it was almost an afterthought to most. The fact that people worry about it so much is laughable. Then again(not saying you pbrown) people are fat as **** these days and that almost sets the stage for many to have it naturally to begin with.

“I had some soy sauce on my sushi. Am I going to get gyno now?” /sarcasm

I add forskolin to my AlphaMax quite often. I usually run about 100mg. I prefer (and recommend) running forskolin for 12 weeks. If your other products are to be used for 8 weeks, you can pre load forskolin for the first 4 weeks then at week 5 add in your stack for 8.

This IS the general consensus, but I tend to think some good marketing is at play for the low % part of the comment.

Forskolin increases cAMP activity. cAMP increases fluid influx into the lumen. The more cAMP, the more potential for diarrhea. Pure cAMP would probably be a potent ingredient in this regard.

Using that as my logic, I would think that the higher % the forskolin, the more likely it is to cause diarrhea...and this also reflects my own personal experience and that of some others on here. The only version that has ever given me issues is the 95% version. Even a full gram of 20% for 200 mg of forskolin wasnt bad for me. But 100 mg of 95% had an undeniable effect.

I always add forskolin when I run AlphaMax or another product that contains f95 (assuming it’s below 100mg). I usually take 100mg for the first 4 weeks as a pre load before I start my natty anabolic. This way it gives me 12 weeks of forskolin.
