Is there any reason to avoid BHT?

Long story short, I'm trying to loose fat and I love eating triscuits as a lower calorie snack. I didn't realize it has BHT in the packaging. I'd hate to give it up. I eat a serving of them almost daily.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. As long as the triscuits fit your macros, you should be fine. BHT and preservatives will not have any impacts on the laws of thermodynamics relating to calories in vs. calories out

Maybe it's known by all that BHT is a food additive classified as “GRAS” or “Generally Recognized as Safe” by the FDA. That basically means it was legally grandfathered in when laws tightened what food additives could be used in processed food. Thanks
