Does hCG affect Cortisol?

I've been reading in different places that hCG can raise or lower cortisol. I can't seem to find a good answer.

If someone who had low cortisol took hCG would it have a negative affect?

I ask because hCG seems to bring on low cortisol symptoms with me even though I'm on HC.
