Prosthetic Elbow / Training Restrictions

Hello,

Long time lurker. I recently shattered my radial head and had it replaced.

Even after recovery, my surgeon says I’ll have to lay off presses and overhead movements.

Pretty bummed, I prefer heavy compound lifts but such is life.

I’m hoping for chest and shoulder recommendations that can still build appreciable strength and size.

I’m assuming dips, weighted push-ups et cetera are out too. Limited pressure on the joint only.

Really hoping I’m not relegated to pec deck machines and lateral raises.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
