I've been diagnosed with herniated disc in L1-L3 i'm looking to see if anyone else has this problem? I doctor says surgery may be necessary I'll find out later this week he says it'll be a two level Fusion I have a seven day 25 minutes per day yoga split along with my regular six-day low impact Weight training please can anyone enlighten me? I'm in my fourth year of being a lifter

I has l3 to 5 done. Flexibility is gone and I was told if I continue to lift heavy, that the disc either above or below will need to be fused over time. My back surgery increased the pain I had prior and I'm on morphine and norco, takes a little bit of the edge of, I'm just stubborn and push through it. I have not tried deadlines or lower back exercises standing or seated shrugs aggravate my lower back as well as over head tricep exercises. I'm 40, surgery was Dec 2013

Hmm are you having problems with addiction to the pain medication and if so how are you coping as I'm having that problem now
