Lately this site has been having technical difficulties and I was just wondering how that happens and what you usually have to do to correct them?

Website down usually means 1 of many things.
Server power outage, website being updated, hosting problems (to many visitors in a certain timeframe, bills not paid, etc.) etc, etc,etc.
Normally hosting issues cause a website to be temp. shutdown if all bills are paid.

And you mustn't forget the most probable cause of sites going down......fucking hackers, as what happened to FM a few months ago.
