No doubt. I thought it looked decent from the previews, but it turned out to be by far the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Absolutely hillarious. I felt like I got my moneys worth.

I have to agree, one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. People in my theater were clapping too at the end.

People need to definitely see this movie.

I'll bet.

I'm pretty sure I was laughing at some stuff and missed a couple jokes.

While we're on the subject of funny movies, has anyone seen Observe and Report? I heard good things about it in reviews, but didn't get a chance to see it in theaters.

Blame it on the PG-13 rating and the movie studios watering stuff down for mass consumption to make a bigger box office take.

However, "Drag Me to Hell" is supposedly one of the best horror movies to come out in a long time, even with its PG-13 rating. I've always had beef with PG-13 horror, but I am seriously considering going to see it. It's made by Sam Raimi, same guy who made the Evil Dead films and has been getting a lot of praise.

Other than that, f*** PG-13 comedy and horror.

it is ok. i was very disappointed because i am a huge seth rogen/frat pack fan...i found from this movie rogen needs a supporting cast. he had jason segal, jonah hill, and paul rudd in knocked up and it was awesome. he had james franco and danny mcbride in pineapple express. he needs people to bounce jokes off of and people that can hang with him comedically. it was an ok movie, just expected alot more.

I rarely find seth rogan funny, just the people around him funny, but zack and miri make a porno was super funny. I actually laughed a couple of times at Seth jokes. I've been waiting get a LOL in on him.

I wasn't that into it until the credits, which were completely hilarious. I liked I Love You Man and Old School better, but its near those movies in terms of its funny factor.

Yes, Drag Me To Hell is an exceptional movie, and its actually a respectable film in terms of its ability to generate a significant fright factor with literally zero in the way of gore.

Its around 95% on RottenTomatoes.com, and that's a very, very high number for any movie, yet alone for a horror genre that critics aren't generally terribly high on.

my two favorite quotes from that movie:

Phil: Paging Dr. Faggot...Dr. Faggot.

Alan: Yeah we can't remember anything from last night. Remember?

It was funny.
"omg, they shot Eddie"
Stu: Oh my God - Phil, you were in the hospital last night.
Phil: Yeah, I guess I was.
Alan: Are you okay?

I then I thought, could it be?

...I saw this last night. It was okay, but you guys really worked it up to be incredible. Alan was the only character that made me laugh with the exception of a few parts.

Zoolander
Anchorman
Wedding Crashers
Step Brothers

...all better than The Hangover.

I though Drag Me to Hell was decent, not as good as i expected after reading the reviews. Im a HUGE Evil Dead fan, and some of the same elements make it into this film. It is what it is, a fun slapstick horror film the whole family can enjoy. I wish I had just waited till it came out on dvd.
