'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a lifter was lifting, not even at the FlagNorFail WarHouse.
All the stockings were hung, by the squat rack with care,
In hopes that real growth hormone would soon be in there.
Branch Warren and Johnny Jackson were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of "Quarter Reps and **** Yeah Mother ****ers" danced in their heads.
And DLB in her yoga pants, and Rob in his "Battle Tested" cap, Had just settled their brains for a long off season nap.
When out on the gym floor there arose such a clatter!
They sprang to their feet to see what was the matter.
Sore quads and all, they found themselves tired and dazed,
They pulled open their eyes and remembered to take a serving of Craze .
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to muscles and boobies below.
When, what to their wondering eyes had appeared,
But a man named Layne Norton, and his eight "metabolically impaired".
With a little old driver, so lively to talk,
They knew in a moment it must be the protein doc.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
The mighty guru whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Latona! Now, Wilkins! Now, Paulina and Dahlgren!
On, Melo! On, Keene! On Robles and Halderman!
To the top of the stage! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away ladies! Dash away all!"
And then, in a twinkling, they heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
As they drew in their heads, and were turning around,
Down the chimney came Dr. Layne with a bound.
He was dressed in 80's apparel from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all powdered with branched chains and soot.
A bundle of supplements he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.
With his Chuck Taylor's on he stalked the gym floor!
He just doesn't believe in being so sore.
Next to his side he had a little helper,
It was just a small Welsh man, they call a 212er.
Flex Lewis was his name, a right jolly old elf,
And they laughed when they saw him, in spite of themself!
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon let us to know we had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
Just one look at those calves enough to make Miley twerk.
It wouldn't be long until the two had to go
And that was alright-they both had plenty to show.
They sprang to the sleigh, gave the team a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But they heard the Doc exclaim, before he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
