I don't know if there's an optimal dosage for social situations. Most people use it for tunnel-like focus when studying or working out.

I know a lot of people have been looking for something for a night on the town but I can't say I have ever used it for such an application. Generally, most people start at 2 caps and feel their way to what works for them but that is very much user-dependent and differs pretty variably person to person.
