Oh yeah. I scored 550 for 5 on my rack pulls today which is a big step up from 520 last week. It worked well because my lower back is sore already. More impressively my lats are sore too. I’m glad it’s hitting them because I’m super limited and walking a fine line doing row movements. I think I can run conservative sets of 135 next back workout.

Hit a low incline bench yesterday and did decent up to 165 for 10. Arm felt really good the whole day but the muscles in the symptomatic area were twitching a lot in the evening and in the morning it hurt. Not my usual hurt when I injure it and it goes immobile and has hard dull discomfort. Like a more normal sensation pain but it didn’t really effect actual use more than normal. After an hour or two of being up and moving around the pain left. I’ll keep to flat and decline movements though because the incline puts more tension on the trouble spot. Overall I think soft benching would be good for strengthening the weak muscles since it recruits stabilizers. Don’t feel safe with DBs right now.

Thanks, bro! I a hit a PR of 572 x 5 today on harness trap deads which I’m almost surprised by because my sleep was interrupted and my left knee has been feeling a tad funny. Heck I’d say it feels better now than before I lifted lmao

Well, guys. I decided to eat carbs again. For health reasons. I need to get my LDL down from 598 lol. I started today and my carb consumption is modest at 145-150g per day and coupled that with a calorie reduction, which I have been progressively doing over the last couple weeks. Using my contest prep archives I devised a new plan based heavily on what Bostin prescribed for my Men's Physique showing as it was among, if not, the most effective I have used.

Macros: 2651 cals / 303g protein / 146g carbs / 86g fat

Meal 1 (preworkout): 4 whole eggs, 40g oatmeal, 25g Isolate
Meal 2 (post workout): 50g Isolate, 70g Blueberries
Meal 3 (post post workout): 200g Ground Burkey (93/7), 200g Russet Potato, 100g cabbage, 85g raw carrots
Meal 4: 200g Ground Burkey (93/7), 200g Russet Potato, 100g cabbage
Meal 5: 50g Isolate, 28g Raw Almonds
Meal 6: 2 whole eggs, 200g Ground Turkey (93/7)

I will be replacing the 93/7 Burkey with 97/3 once I finish off the meat I already bought. Doing so (along with adding a little cheese for dairy) will bring my calories down to about 2600. I'll then drop the cheese to bring calories down to about 2520.

Time to get leeeeeeannnnnn.

I always thought a burkey was what happens when two people are getting nasty on a hot summer night and their bellies are all sweaty and makes that fart noise when they stick together.
That’s pretty fcuking gross, but an*l isn’t soooo.... I dunno.... haha 🤪
