Physique, that is. I'm not asking about height or facial features. :p

This is to get a feel how the current generation of athletes feel about the recent direction in the sport. This poll does not mean to represent everyone's favourite, as it is limited to a max of 8 options. So hopefully these are somewhat representative of the history of bodybuilding.

The poll is limited to 8 options. I found 8 good ones I could get pics for... I dunno... So I edited the first post to reflect this surprising choice of pictures. There are lots of great athletes missing.
 
I am sorry I wasn't complaining, it is an awesome poll. And those pics are great did u scan them or get them off line.
 
Got them from a site. If you right-click on the image and "copy image location" then paste into your browser bar, you'll get the address where it actually is on the web. In other words, the pictures are't actually on this board, they reside somewhere on the web..... They're just "inline-linked" I think is the proper term.

Unbelieveable. I don't know if he ever won the O, but its funny that he would have had we been judging.

BTW, notice how much my physique already resembles his :lol:
 
Serge had a nice physique, but come on guys, he had NO LEGS and a relatively weak back!

Bump on the competition weight of Serge Nubret.

Sergio Oliva competed at 240lbs on 5'9". In 1969. Isn't that just incredible?

Even more incredible is that he got dethroned by Arnie at 6'1" and also 240lbs. WTF?

Out of those eight, I would pick Mentzer

or Yates. (in contest shape!)

Sergio Oliva would be nice too.



If the poll included Zane, I would pick him before any of the others.

all time favorite bodybuilder is a different story. but as to who I'D rather look like...
Nubret all the way.
 
I still think Lee Haney had the best physique ever. Super Huge with the smallest waist ever. Look at how tiny his waist is in that picture. Somehow even though he was so massive, he didnt look "overly" muscular like the other big boys on the list ( Coleman, Yates ).
 
Pretty much a toss up between Arnold and Olivia. Probably arnold tho because he is 6'2" and I am a short **** at 5'9" 1/2. Olivia is still my favorite bb'er of all time, so if he was alittle taller, it would be him.

Check another one off for Serge Nebret. Before you put RC on the list, DJ should've been there. IMO
 
Who else besides myself voted for the Coleman look? I've got his new video and i'd LOVE to look THAT freaky.
 
I agree Serge Nubret. I just saw this pic. Sort of gives me hope :)

BTW I saw a link posted somewhere of Serge at a BB show just recently. He wasn't doing the show but WOW the guy still looks great. He actually looked better than the guys in the show. Anyone see that and have the link?
