Vet Grade Gear

I have an opportunity to get hold of some Enantat QV 250. My question is what is the difference between vet grade gear and gear made for us? Should I pass on this deal (around 10 vials) or should I purchase?

I asked the same question before. People say that QV is descent and they always test within 3mg of their label claims. The problem with vet grade is usually just the concern of the sterility from the manufacturer. That is, if there is one.

I'd say if the price is right, go for it....

QV and denkall are both made under human use standards. They always test extremely sterile as far as I know.

Many people use it.

If you are concerned, it is a rather simple process to heat/filter for sterility issues.

I would guess the standard .45 micron whatman would be good. and normal baking procedures call for 250 degrees for about 15 minutes, then I'd personally cold shock it in the fridge.
