Deleted a previous 2019-2021 "too many excuses" thread where I was not working out, just rebuilding life + career and biding my time (real life challenges) - was not able to workout from 2018-2021 much. Was proud I came back after accomplishing a lot for family + career firstly now in 2022 (so I can afford my fitness lifestyle). So here's the reboot, all that gone. Won't talk about that anymore.

Simple PED + workout logs is what you want, simple is what you get. Already working out 3-4x a week pretty hard and in middle of first cycle in years. Dedicateion / habit is reestablished, clean eating Diet in progress.
=
  1. <<EDIT>> GOAL = 210lbs and <<9-10%BF>>, Currently at 197lbs and 14-15% BF. Was up to 225lbs and sloppy 11-12% in 2018 at heaviest. hit 210-215 at 9-10% before, so this should be do able in time. Slow and steady.
  2. STRATEGY = Currently on week 4. Rowing 15mins x 3-4 Lifting hard workouts per week.
  3. PED = TRT ~150mg / week + secondary anabolic. Initial bulk up with Mechabol + TRT to get strong again. Next will transition to 3-AD or Trenavar type 'cut' in a few weeks. Secondary anabolic will be at "cheap date" levels equal or less than TRT dose. Max benefits, min organ stress.
  4. FOOD = Rice, Pasta, Oats, Meats, Veggies, and other things.. Yeah I tend to BITCH about when my DIET slips, but it's IIFYM and I don't have time to "excel log" my food, I'm a bloody ectomorph tallish anyway, I can shed the fat (used to play basketball, run, V-ball)
  5. GYM = HOME GYM TONAL + BowFlex Select Tech
  6. Photos of body = will pose only body parts, don't have time for selfies of whole body will later. I'm more interested in atheltic/long-term aging PEDss with strength and looking good, not trying to do 225-230lbs and 9-10% BF I did in 2018 anymore.
  7. Renpho E-scale start stats = Attached
  8. Tonal workout summaries = will be posted - this thing tracks me... way better than any notebook, superior logs + coaching + pumps. I will post those.
  9. Blood work = next week, basically it was clear 3 and 6 months ago, so this will be a mid-cycle.
  10. Cardia Mobile EKG (gotta make sure I'm not fucking up the heart, for all the dads here)
  11. Whiting Blood pressure cuff (same deal, pair with bloodwork)

Some initial body pics next time, working on a selfie stand. Posting will 'appear' weekly or so, to not overpromise. Workout dedication is there, but career+family means posting here be periodic.. And summarize all the work-done in less posts.


Yeah I'm a dad who works out a weird hours, logs at weird times. I'm not knocking single people who can focus all day on their personal training, in fact I WISH I was 20-something again to do that myself. It's just easier, plain and simple.

But if you're gonna come here and call me a troll on my chat thread, go F*yourself stage left now. If you can handle the fact I might vent at my woes with personal time-management /depression /frustration at times, great be encouraging. If not, just leave.

I'm a little confused, you said you were 225 and a sloppy 11-12% bf? That doesn't make sense. If your 11-12% bf you are sporting a full 6pack for 99% of ppl, it's impossible to be sloppy at 11-12. Most men have a decent amount of visible abs at 15%

Being a real 7-8% bf is about 3-4 weeks out from a bodybuilding competition. Absolutely peeled to the point your kinda uncomfortable all the time. whatever method your using to judge bf is probably very inaccurate. Unless I'm misunderstanding what your Saying?

When I'm at 10-12% I can see cuts all through my chest and shoulders, abs are complete, veins popping out all over the place.
OK fair enough - End of 2017 >> 2018 - basically was ending a bulk here - last photos I have before Seizure July 2018 and BF was 14-16% or so. See (EDIT) above on age and realistic goals. Was in full on "new dad" mode.

<I promise to buy a selfie stick and actually clean-up, take pose photos... As you can tell damn near impossible to "flex" while holding a phone, definitely need hands free if you're not a pro at posing, flexing>

Maybe realistic (given my long-term diet issues) is 210 @ 10-12%,
not really - 7-8%. Given certain long-term diet issues, never really been able to beat the sugar addiction fully.

However, if I say were to get some TX-heat + run full court basketball for a summer I'd have my 20-something Air Force abs back.

And Here's SADLY, where I'm at today (after a few years off). I finally learned how to get some bicep separation in 2017-2018 and getting my chest to actually have a pump and grow, really requires a lot of slow / zen / pump chasing lifting dumbbells, wide flyes, extra TuT.

I think the Tonal Coaching / instant form feedback - will really help. I'm noticing way more activation and better * well-rounded workouts, since they do all the sports-science planning and logging for me. Thanks computers + smart fitness trainers!

I'll be back for rowing + upper body split... with my new favorite Cocaine dealer.. I mean Tonal Trainer "Pablo Escobar"

That's good - what do you notice mainly? I bought them back in 2018-2019 and been saving them. Will be using them upcoming.

I mean you're not going to feel anything there's no stimulant effect at all, I am tracking my fasted glucose numbers though and they're trending downward meaning my insulin sensitivity is improving which should indirectly lead to more fat burning that's for sure, 8 days in I believe I'm down 3 lb and my waist is down 1/8 of an inch. I'm going to be doing a boxing match in June so I need to get down to 178 lb which is going to be a hell of a struggle, well, maintaining 178 would be a struggle I can get there. My goal is to cut down to about 185 and just maintain there until about a week or two out and then the cut last couple days cut some water. I'm only 5'9 and a half on a good day, so I don't want to be fighting at 205 lb LOL

183 is where I ended my last cut, and I was pretty damn ripped but I don't feel comfortable being that lean, I was hungry a lot, my strength was down ext.
I actually got back up to about 206, then started thermoamp at 201.5 and now I'm down to 198.something. right now my strength is still going up. Just benched 295x5 and got 405x3 on box squat

Are you using one of those glucose-monitor apps? Or tracking with needle sticks on fingers?

I can see why ATHLETEs needing body-part specific strength / muscle gain / flexibility improvement are flocking to Tonal. Sorry for going on here, but doing basic reverse-pyramid, lower body splits today... I'm seeing ALL my weakpoints (lower body, core, hamstring, legs)

Got torched on Single leg, Rear Dead Lift move and Courtsey Goblet squats (after 2 blocks of regular squats, deadlifts, and these inverted marching plank things). My single leg balance sucks, well here's to fixing all the weak points...

Also, LORD I have WAY too much 4-ANDRO products (not shown)... Back before I was on TRT-4-Life, I stocked up during pandemic as a "oral TRT" backup plan... Oops. Not sure what to do with like 10x or more bottles, 4-Andros now. If on a TRT regiment, basically no point? Or can just run plain TRT + 4-Andro with some benefit (like plain test blast cycle)? I have enough to toss 4-andro boost on each of those cycles lol.

Tagging ol' board friends for advice motivation. Seems I've forgotten a lot of things I studies up on back in 2015-2018 when doing my first runs here. Forgive me if I forget a few, I'll tag more. Obviously being at the same BF% and down -20-25lbs, gotta long-long hills to climb. Oh well, sweet pain.

1.) Posing & Stretching.
I did all this lifting/training, but it was mainly athletic reasons and I was just "going through the motions" early in life, learning to lift for hypertrophy = pump is relatively new to me. Something I've never done, poses... I've mainly cared about just being strong, getting bigger when I was thin/tall/younger, that's changed I guess with the fat hanging around now. I assume for the definition of muscles, beyond losing the fat, one MUST STRETCH & POSE. Probably some basics in an Arnold Encycopedia I should read...
2.) Photos
= I'll get the proper selfie stick, learn how to take decent photos = for real feedback and progress over time. Not for stage purposes, just for self-improvement.
3.)Hydration = I walk around with the half-gallon "Hydro Master" from Build fast formula. Handy, cube of water, I just need constant work to drink enough water, or I'll chronic dehydrate. Especially using all these supps and wanting to ease organ stress.
4.) Actual rigorous bloodwork / EGK/ bloodpressure cuff / and e-scale tracking, and yes eventually logging the food macros (first part in a couple of weeks, the second one might take a bit)
5.) Lifitng at home gym (no excuses now) 3-4 days a week, even at weird hours, throw in extra sets of dumbbells aside from Tonal.. no results if I can't push myself, etc. Trying to get back that level of endurance.
<Even if life throws **** at me, pause and return to the gym. I have some bipolar-ness, so sometimes I can be very highly motivated for periods... then get real down>
6.) Done 'buying drugs' just need to eat /lift / cycle with TRT base, etc. I have enough **** for like 2-3 years worth. Pandemic buying at it's finest. Of course, I might 'balance the cabinet' see post above with way too much 4-andro.

how do you like tonal?
It's pretty Amazing actually. Imagine a perfect "functional trainer" mounted on a wall + AI-coaching that is read from the handles you lift with (it can spot your bad form and instantly correct you).

It's got the music, library of coaches + live sessions + build your own "blocks" from huge movements library. And it's always growing, changing. Like even if I disconnect all the live options, just the wall-mounted super-functional trainer alone is worth it.

If you want to replace Planet Fitness = Tonal + Elliptical/Rower + Selecttech dumbbells + multi-position Bench. Although, Tempo.Fit is a nice free weight competitor to tonal it seems too. I need the constant tension, aside from dumbells though.

For me its the auto-logging of workouts / AI-coaching / fast = no changing of weights / time-saving (moving from my office >> gym >> office in minutes and having food, shower, kitchen all right there now, no driving).


And what's cool, when you want to "go long" you just keep doing extra-reps... and it loops the trainers video - they keep working out with you until you press the off button. Dope.

I emphasize the coaching because until I found AM-forum ~2015 I wasted a lot of time in my 20's early 30's in the gym... Didn't know how to lift for hypertrophy, still have to fight bad habits. Constant coaching helps.

I think this will make actual bodybuilding / fitness at home more a reality given my obligations.

Just throwing the last of the moving boxes, finally done, and did 30-min rowing on the Nordictrack..

Tagging a few more old board friends @cheftepesh1 @Afi140 @DemntedCowboy @GQdaLEGEND, @Godstrength, the memory is coming back need to look through old logs, convos threads.

@Segansational - yeah man, after the Mecha build up here, def going to Switch to TrenaV and then even 3-AD.

And I stocked up on some Decabolin (19-nor Andro from HITECH). And while @Smont would say real Deca is better for the joint lubricity.. I do find connective tissue benefit from EQ, so got some LG Sciences 17a-andro to run some long awaited "Rich kid andro" stacks I've never really done proper. 17a being EQ, Boldenone precursor also has reported joint tissue/healing benefit.

Tony @ Steel gives a nice little breakdown of 17a, granted it's marketing -

What kind of resistance does that tonal thing provide? Like what are the max tension levels and what not.

Yes I use a glucose monitor with a needle. And strength is climbing but I'm still down in strength from a few years back. I was doing the same 5 reps with 315 about 2 years ago, but I was also 25lbs heavier. Today I got 296x6, then dropped to 225x20 rest 15 seconds and squeezed out 5 more. Unfortunately I know after I drop another 10lbs my strength is going to go down, always does. So trying to stay as strong as possible on this cut.

Those apps for glucose, bodyfat and all that other stuff are horribly inaccurate. Like not even remotely close

Even the 50miilion macro apps are not really accurate. There a good way to get a idea, but your maintenance calories vary from day to day. Best way to be certain is add up everything you eat over the course of a week and then divide it by 7 and that'll give you your daily average for maintaining your weight. It's infinitely more accurate than any app because it's a direct reflection of what you're eating equaling your body weight

200 lbs total, or 100 lbs per arm.

For most all Exercises (sans big lifts, or powerlifting) you're good to go = being a digital functional trainer + coaching.
I still keep heavier quick change dumbbells and expanded Selectech bars around, one could do something similar and really get pretty close to a way more effective small, home gym. And Mirror.co.uk and Tempo.fit are good free-weight alternatives, I really wanted a double-stack, home functional trainer... for years - so this satisfies that for me.

Nordictrack has a knock-off of the Tonal, but it's a mere ~50lbs total, basically same e-flywheel they use in the rower? It's like 1/4 the price though :)

Best way to be certain is add up everything you eat over the course of a week and then divide it by 7 and that'll give you your daily average for maintaining your weight. It's infinitely more accurate than any app because it's a direct reflection of what you're eating equaling your body weight
Small victories in the kitchen and diet. Which is my struggle, but now I'm lifting + wife cooking clean too - we're doing better (craving good foods from exercise).
1.) BFF 80:20 Chocolate = BEST PROTEIN EVER, replaced the heshey's simply 5 sugar "chocolate milk" addiction, god bless Matt for always hand writing notes, I'm gonna grab like 3 more bags now.
2.) Stevia-Malto extract = 100% sugar in coffee, tea, cereal replacement
3.) Oats + Coffee for breakfast, good way to start the day instead of other things. Need that morning fuel.
4.) Rice Cooker + Pasta + Baked Chicken / Salmon / name your meat (or grilled/griddled on a Blackstone).
=
Mecha = hungry, I didn't get to lift this morning so making a motivational diet note.. Be back with log after lunch-lift sessio.

Diet is the hardest part, it's the reason why most ppl don't get the look there going for. Once I figured out my food I was getting the same results while on trt that I use to get on cycles, It taught me that my goals require very, very low amounts of gear. But sooner or later I'm gonna be tempted to run a real cycle Tho lol.

But even knowing what I know now, it's still hard to stick to the plan. Especially when your a foodie

Also, what's up with 17-andro - LG Sciences Pro already discontinued? I can find some "Swole AF" 17a, but no liposomal/cyclosomal delivery system? Did I miss the boat on 17a? I would grab the Swole AF, but really prefer companies using a bioperine or lipo/cyclo type delivery method.

Quick photos / Tonal work out summary:
1.) First month was just 2-days lifting + some light rowing (get the body used to this again)
2.) Finally got up to 3-days a week, this week
3.) Pablo Escobar tends to do Block 1 = heavy reverse pyramids sets + Blocks 2 = isolation moves for chest, shoulders, etc in 12-rep sets after the pyramids. Wow for "beginner" that is tough if you put you're mojo into it.

So... Apparently, I got the LAST bottle of LG Sciences Pro 17a-Andro. From Samedaysupplements... anywhere on the net, went through many stores. Because damn Steel charges to much for Andros.

Then I found a 20% discount code for Steel's Andros, got 2x more 17a-Andro bottles from him. All using cyclosomal/liposomal type delivery. Jeez still like $75 a bottle.

I hope know that Hi-Tech owns LG Sciences, they relaunch some of these and keep them affordable?

Me too lol - granted theirs a thread here fron March 4th, known folks - saying this (1,4 OHP) is trash but 17a-andro is a boldenone precursor and like other andros, I assume once given the right delivery tech can be pretty effective:
Supposedly, Equibolin by Hi-Tech (1,4 andro) is also boldenone precursor and has similar benefits. AND, you know me I have a stock of EQ and Test-EQ mix, but if it wasn't for RBC rise I'd stay on Test-EQ mix via regular TRT. Some of these "deca-precursor" and "EQ-precursor" prohormones from Hi-Tech, Steel - seem be getting good reviews for living up to claims (we'll see).

Well got the Renpho digital body-tape measure, to go with their e-scale. I'm up ~3-4 lbs since starting the Mechabol and first cycle back about ~3 weeks in. First two weeks barely counted, just warming up the body...

Pee is ever so slightly orange, but hydration + Nutriissa Cycle Support + CEL Tudca seems to be doing it's job, feel great no lethargy on Mechabol either yet. Of course the Black Market Adrenolyn Nootropic Pre helps a ton :).

Couple lunch pics, light flexing to hold the e-tape + camera on the bicep here. Seems I'm at just over 14" right bicep, will do the rest of the body for stats.

Kardia Mobile EKG + Whiting Blood-pressure cuff readings next post tonight before rowing.

You just earned a follow from me, where's your logs, progress since you joined in 2017? Got anything useful to say, seems like you literally just showed up here to pick a bone, randomly? I was logging here 2015-2018 mid.

I was poisoned in July 2018, had dual-grandmal seizures and by the time I rebuilt health / home / career / young family and moved to TX house - my logging and workouts and physique took a major toll (as in no gym, poor diet from overwork and stress) - as is clearly evident by pics I posted before 2018 >> now restarting 2022.

Maybe that's why you think "I'm an epic troll" the story is too crazy... truth is stranger than fiction bro. Feel free to stick around though, I'll be here proving your theory about me wrong.

On another note - Go-bags & Guns.

I am the only one who also just fixed up all his "Go bags" for the house and vehicles given near WW3?. How do you store your TRT minimally in go bag (or just take dry 4-andro tabs instead)?

Now the house is settled, sure felt good to take off all that "ban state compliant" **** off my rifles and return my light AR-10 and AR-15 and AR-9 to normal six-position stock and no "fin" on the handgrips. Just bought 30-rounders, E-baying the 10's or keeping them just for range use. Good to be in TX.

FYI - one could defeat ban-state, compliance regs.. as I did, by making their "featureless rifles" by employing ambi-selector switches, also "fixed, but adjustable stocks" also use a "muzzle brake, compensator" instead of a "flash-hider" if you're stuck in NY/CA/NJ, etc... That dodges the magazine-lock non-sense and keeps the rifle as close to normal as possible.

Back workout today, tomorrow shoulders and Bi's perhaps.

Visual log of movements, weight totals, and affected body parts here. Interesting if you finish a trainer's workout in a program and jump over to "Free Lift" mode it will just let you pick whatever and keep on going. Super cool, will eventually build my own workout-blocks on here.

Wholly hell did I ever "re-feed" last night. Like 4pm stepped out of the office and basically ate myself into a "food coma" and napped from 6pm-12pm and now I'm here lol.

Alright, well the Mechabol warmup ~4weeks went well (as expected) - blood work this afternoon.

@Hyde's 3-Ad log has me wanting to run that, pretty bad - but I also want to try the Turkesterone 650 and Winstrol (25R-superLax) and 17a-andro and Hexadrone, lol...

Like before - I'm thinking I had very minimal sides for Mechabol being methylated, yet blood work today will tell for sure - but let's switch today - I want to get strong and lose some fluff I've accumulated.

Good note - If Mechabol and P-Mag (for whatever reason are methyl PH, but don't blow up my ALT/AST with cycle support) that would be a win, for sure and I can keep using feel good oral methyl PH with enough hydration and TUDCA, etc..

Updated TRT + PED plan - next couple months (family vacation interrupts 4/20-5/1)
Before vacation:
1.)3-AD + Hexadrone (keep in mind on TRT now) @Segansational this is for you. Increase volume of training next month, add regular rowing and more core.
After vacation:
2.)Natty'ish = Hi-Tech Winstrol (25R-SuperLax) + Hi-Tech Turkesterone 650mg -recover
3.)TrenaV + Turkesterone 650 or 17a-Andro (or 19-nor andro)?

After the "TrenaV + natty'ish rounds" and then plain TRT-cruise... clean up any blood work, for awhile - and then 4.) later this year.. finally run Nanodrol (nano M-Sten) from Fusion/Predator UK. That would be my last 'harsh methyl' otherwise just Mecha and Pmag.

Basically, since I'm TRT now + using andros & non-methyl options to space out the 'good stuff' and keep gains, etc, minimize organ stress.. My bloodwork has been clean for a long time, but ever since I saw the values from that dual-seizure mess back July '18. Yeah, just more cautious now.

Right now training @ 3-days per week, trying to get to 4-days per week (body split + rowing + extra sets) by ~May..

TONAL FREE LIFT MODE = One sick Pump. ARM Blast day + chest flyes + Goblet squats and lagging body parts. Yeah buddy. Gained like 1-1/25" inches on biceps with the pump, lol. Feels great having veins all big like that.

Gotta use the "eccentric mode" or "smart resistance" modes which can basically sense if you need more or less weight during the contraction, dopeness.

Not sure if that's the 3-AD + Hexadrone talking, but there was a nice energy already taking that this morning..

Both the 3-AD from Enhanced Formulations and Hexadrone from Brawn are 2x caps/day - which should be fine. Start that tomorrow.

Y'all gonna laugh, sometimes I judge the usefulness of steroid, if not for bulking and pure recovery/protein-synethesis.. but also things like Epi-andro that when combined with a solid pre-workou+nootropics like Black Market Adrenolyn or Full Blitz by BFF, one can get a lot of WORK done. Love feel-good, wanna make you get **** done type gear. Even a get pump'd a bit while dong said chore and using your muscles.

Probably doing upper body, push split tomorrow... chest / triceps / shoulders- as legs and back are torched. +5 hours of Push-pull over 8500 sq.ft. Texas lawn,, ouch. Makita makes awesome Li-ion electric mowers, but mines a "push" type, so wish I had Oura-ring or watch that tracks the movements. Show the work done with 5 hours of push-pull mowing.

And 3-AD and Hexadrone, coming through with some all day energy. Even just had banging sex with the wifey after (of course after a shower and 3x 200mg Ibuprofen + 10mg valium (i get hypertense, and this allows my body to not get super stiff, even with stretching)).

5 hours of mowing is no joke! I get stiff after an hour or 2 of yard work

Finally got a really good chest pump in years. See workout summary of free-lift. Need about 8-10k lbs lifted on a body split and incline chest flyes and other certain moves to really get any chest activation.

Also had an interesting first run with TX tornado/hail cells, passing by us in Austin area last night. Pretty close to where my house was. Rolled up the gym, put the cars in the garage. And re-laid out the gym before workout today. Move all the gym gear around, not a bad warmup lol.

Well after some initial gains on 4-weeks of Mecha, and also a lighter diet this week - seems e-scale has paused at ~201lbs, but I felt lighter/leaner around the mid-section already.

Whitings blood pressure cuff readings show me in the 110/70 (before) to 119/73 (today) zone, heart rate 72 (wife came in had me talking)

Before that I mounted a Kardia Mobile EKG done on my Nordic Tracker rower, sitting still at 69 bpm, normal sinus rythym.

Post "mecha" warmup cycle bloodwork Thursday, I don't expect much - blood ran clear with it before and good hydration/cycle support once before.
Which is puzzling as I expect some ALT/AST boost, from most methyl PH, even with cycle support - no orangish pee this time, so should be good.

Mecha = DMZ Light, like a drier feel good S-drol even.

Hyde hooked me up with legit LGI Mehca (still potent as F*ck) anyway, it's weird the last time I ran it.. basically can add mass almost like DMZ, make feel happy-aggressive (not mean like Tren) ok a lil-Alpha but not too bad. And oddly, is more liver-friendly? Barely made my pee yellow, orange and didn't seem to move the bloodwork much.

In the past, prior to any knowledge of TUDCA, NAC, hydration principles - the first cycle was Halodrol ~2015 from Blackstone - whee did my ALT/AST ever blow up :) numerically, but GGT was fine and stress markers returned to normal later.

In this case, I had pre-cycle blood work, from months prior.. and wanted to run a quick 4-week Mecha "warm up" get my body back in mode, Worked like a charm.

Just got fasted post-Mecha cycle blood work this AM (was supposed to be this past Saturday, so not perfectly timed). But if ALT/AST and Kidneys' still show good to go, then likely either the Mecha is somehow less harsh (I hear this too about YK-11 not sure if true) despite being methyl PH. I will also run PMag from Brawn (4-chloro-17a-methylandros-4-ene-3b, 17b-diol), another 4-choro, 17a-methyl PH later this summer. Hear it's similar to Mehca, Halodrol.

If you control diet on Mecha, could go either way I think it will make you gain like DMZ but if it's "wet" is probably more diet and cardio-related (unlike some compounds)... But its since it's an effective methyl-PH and went taking it you feel a.) ON-feeling and happy-aggro with b.) hungry and when recovery = growth, it hurts in that weird good way.

Now onto the Hexadrone + 3-AD = here - another solid lift Back and Biceps as much as I could during work lunch. Wierdly, it doesn't make me happy-aggro, but WORK capacity seems to increase. Like I was at 12.8k lbs lifted, had a upper body pump at 8k lbs today (seems to be magic range for me) and started the set not feeling super strong, but ended making PR's as Tonal tracks for me. I felt like I could have gone another 3-4k lbs on back today, but boss called - back to work.

Also, finally eating cleaner, more on the regular. Tumeric + Garlic rice + baked salmon + green beans + Brocolli. Yum
