Long story short back in February I was doing incline Dumbbell press and my shoulder went in extreme pain. Went to the doc (orthopedist) got a MRI and it was a torn labrum. Doc told me surgery is really the only option as this will continue to get worse. I was all set up for surgery then covid hit. After the initial first month of it being torn I couldn’t work out as it was preety painful. But since then I’ve been back to working out fully, my shoulder feels really good. Just got back from the gym we’re I hit 225 on bench for 22 reps at 155lbs haha, not gonna lie tho my shoulder is a little sore. But about a week ago I, I went to a different orthopedist for a second opinion. He reviewed the MRI tape and said at my age (24) since the tear wasn’t very severe, and since it’s not really at all painful he thinks it healed itself and he doesn’t at all recommend surgery. What are your guys thoughts on this?
