I was just reading last night that the original formula was banned due to something in it. I was just wondering if anyone knows what that was or if that was even true. I remember that being the 1st pre I ever tried and really liking it back in the day.
Did Gaspari get caught with hdrol in some stuff? Maybe I'm mixing up companiesIf I remember correctly, the original Superpump 250 wasn't banned as in banned by the FDA, but was banned by NCAA athletics, but most would be now days by that standard bc at the time the limit was 250 mg. of caffeine. And if I remember correctly, Gaspari turned that into a positive spin on it for marketing, like so strong its banned by the NCAA or something like that.
Gaspari back in the old days did make some products that were banned like prohormones, ATD, etc. but I don't remember that having anything to do with Superpump 250.
I did know that, they might have been the first, if it wasn't CEL who brought hdroI, @sns8778 would know. I just thought they (Gaspari) had spiked something, all good I was probably mistaken on the gaspari supplement spike. It's been awhile but I think they actually just sold H-Drol as Halodrol 50 back when you could buy pro-hormones at GNC.

I also wonder why superpump made everyone here **** there brains out lol

Gaspari definitely spiked OG Detonate (which reminds me, I still have a couple unopened bottles of that).I don't think they ever spiked anything. If they did, I either don't remember it or never heard of it.
One thing that was confusing back in the old days is that when the FDA did go after companies selling ph's and things like that, the way they would phrase it is by saying that the product contained a misbranded drug - but what that really meant was that they were saying the ingredient itself didn't meet the legal definition of a dietary supplement, and therefore the product itself was a misbranded drug. Some people misunderstood that and thought companies were spiking things with 'drugs', but the FDA was considering the ph you were intending to buy and that was declared on the label as the misbranded drug. Like if you bought Halodrol and read that the FDA considered it to contain a misbranded drug, it didn't mean that it contained another drug, it meant they were calling the Halodrol that you intended to buy a misbranded drug bc the misbranded part was them saying it said dietary supplement on it and it didn't meet the legal definition of a dietary supplement.

Yeah, it was a great product. They had some serious talent in the early 2000’s.Kinda related, I'm almost certain the OG SizeOn was spiked with an anabolic.
I've NEVER had results like that with a "natural" product.
Good times!
And @ndiguy just curious when you first started using supplements because that may play a role in how you responded to products (first timer for pre workout or creatine)Yeah, it was a great product. They had some serious talent in the early 2000’s.
I had been working out and utilizing supplements for a few years at that point. And @ndiguy just curious when you first started using supplements because that may play a role in how you responded to products (first timer for pre workout or creatine)
Superdump 250 remember taking this stuff in high school and about 4-5 other kids all of us in the stalls before weights class shitting our brains out. I think it was overloaded with folic acid or something. Don’t recall it ever having a prohormone in it. I do remember a few pre-workouts on the market that max lmg- Methoxygonadiene but I didn’t think it was the best idea for consistently dosing a prohormone.I was just reading last night that the original formula was banned due to something in it. I remember the size on capsules but looked like it was just high dose of creatine bcaas but not sure I tried it later and can’t really recall if it was any good. Hard to compare some of them because it was around when I took Primadrol Performances Liquid Superdrol which nothing even came close to the gainsKinda related, I'm almost certain the OG SizeOn was spiked with an anabolic.
