Test deficiency symptoms with normal blood work

Evening all,

A while back, I saw a TRT specialist as I’d been tolerating the effects of what I thought was low test, namely:
- Depression
- Zero concentration
- Zero drive/motivation
- libido non-existent
- putting on muscle mass next to impossible in spite of regular working out

My blood work came back as normal (results below) and my request for test + HCG was knocked back.

My question now is, has anyone ever seen numbers like this in a person who is experiencing testosterone deficiency symptoms anyway? I’ve had a look online, and most graphs of testosterone against age seem to agree that total T in my results is reasonable, but I still feel like half a corpse most days.

Has anyone had numbers like mine and still benefited from starting TRT?

Information/opinions appreciated.

Pretty much a carbon copy of me mate. My Testosterone is 14.1 nmo/L
Free Testosterone is 0.273 nmo/L

I have all the same symptoms along with a very physical job in the emergency services and busy family life.....I feel like **** most of the time. I went to GP (UK) and they completely wouldnt entertain trt. I've looked at private options but its pricey and they may not go the test route so I'm seriously considering a mild 300 mg Test E cycle for 12 weeks then bloods and once it shows my numbers low.... go private for test script.

I feel your pain. The UK is terrible at helping guys (trt). I'm 46.

I know you were looking for dreamstate to reply but my dhea 166 (70-495) SHBG 57 (10-50) TT 726 (250-1100) free T 122 (35-152) DHT 48 (12-65) I thought high SHBG would lower freeT

I don't know what the dreamstate part means but TRT tanked my DHEA and Pregnenolone levels. My libido went with it so now I supplement them as needed to keep me balanced. I feel best with my DHEA over 500.

I had a bunch of tests done a while ago as my test numbers were very low. The Dr I had didn’t want to proscribe anything so I went more natural. They helped a little, especially with moods. Libido was not an issue.
