I had surgery to fix the tendon back to the bone with the endobutton method due to a complete rupture of the distal biceps tendon about 7 weeks ago. I am still in the recovery process but I cannot open my hand because of the damage to my radial nerve after the surgery and when I lift my hand from the wrist it almost closes. The echography and electromyogram said there was no rupture and it was said that there was a possible strain-related injury. However, although it has been almost 2 months, there has been no progress in hand function and I am worried about this. I would like to hear about the experiences of anyone who has had a complication related to this? Also, what medication or medications can you recommend to me in addition to physical therapy that can speed up the healing of nerve injuries? Thank you.
