Something I've seen on QVC

I've seen a brand of cologne on QVC claiming to have pheromones in them. They claimed it would give you a sense of "fun to be around," rather than a "oh I want you baby" to the women. They also had the female's product which supposedly did the same thing to the male. Anyway, during the program, they said that they had a patent for this, and that many other companies were selling pheromone products but they were animal pheromones which would have no effect on humans... So the pheromone business was basically a scam. I can't remember the brand, however. This was about 3 years ago, and it was the first time I have ever heard of pheromones, and I haven't thought much about them until I saw this board. I was wondering if this were true, or not? I'm honestly just curious about this...

I have read about some of the people on this board having good results with the pheromones, but honestly, if someone believed themself to be more attractive to women, then it seems like their own body could produce the pheromones.

Anyway, I'm just curious about this. I didnt' read this on a six second abs commercial, but it was on QVC, and the owner of the product was talking some.

That info. off of QVC about most pheromones being sold being animal phero's is very old and does not apply to love-scent.com, all of their stuff is human. There is plenty of science behind it, check out their forum and FAQ.

As far as I know, there were never any animal pheromone products for humans (although DrSmellThis at LS will tell you that age old cologne ingredients such as civet contain animal pheros that work on humans). -nol and -none are found in and effect pigs, but that isn't to say that they don't work on humans or that they were extracted from pigs (or dead people, as one web site selling pheromone pills stated).
