SNS X-GELS Beginner questions

Hey people what's up,

I haven't had access to a gym since this pandemic hit and I have finally ordered some adjustable dumbbells and a bench so I can get back working out.

I'm 27 years old , around 27% body fat, 5'11'' 185lbs.

My goals are to recomp and I am looking for an extra edge without pushing it too far into anything too hardcore like sarms or steroids yet, as I feel like I have a long way to go before that would ever enter the equation.

I've been lifting on and off for the better part of 5 years.

I have seen a lot of you guys mention SNS X-gels as a natty product that actually works, however I'm not sure what the proper regimen would be for a first timer? Is there anything else that would complement it in a recomp context? Basically looking for the proper way to go about getting the full potential out of this on my first try, any advice is super appreciated in regards to dosing schedule and amounts.

I'm currently only supplementing creatine monohydrate and fish oil, turmeric and TUDCA.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Truthfully I'd keep your base supps (i.e. creatine, fish oil, etc) and just add in the xgels for a 50 workout run and see how it treats you since you haven't used it before. It's a pretty good natty supp so x gels alone will get you results and since you haven't used it before I always recommended not stacking a lot together when you take a supp for the first time.

Appreciate the feedback brotha, will do that for a run like you mentioned, start from 4 caps and work my way up depending how i feel after a couple weeks. I think something like MK677 could be something to incorporate on a future cycle, from what I understand the improved recovery should complement the x-gels and the increased soreness. I think?

You certainly CAN take MK and x-gels but I would wait to at least take either one at least once by themselves or at least try the x-gels solo first.

Out of curiosity why are you taking tudca?

It's my first time supplementing it, years of liver abuse like mdma and alcohol. I don't really do MDMA anymore but I still drink. I figured I have beat the crap out of my liver over the years.

And yeah I totally agree, would not incorporate MK until further down the road, as you say id try both individually. I will need to acclimate myself to both products first before stacking.

Should I be taking a pre-workout as well on top of x-gels? Or would you recommend doing a full run of x-gels on their own for that too?

Thanks again for the advice.

I see. Long-term you may be better off with NAC. I am not 100% on this but I believe tudca while consuming alcohol was found to be counterproductive........I believe the idea is to not take at the same time as alcohol. I think it is in here:

Very interesting man, thanks for sharing that. Luckily my first month usage of tudca I went through it sober from alcohol, only bottom of the bottle left. I guess I'll make sure not to take them since I have started dabbling in a couple drinks here and there with the lady.

Once again, appreciate the help.

I think the issue was having the tudca in your system at the same time. I did not re-read that link but I would think not taking it the day of consumption and the following day would be fine. Long-term NAC and maybe some herbs would be my liver health option. Cost wise NAC is so much cheaper too!

I will definitely take a look into NAC!

It is also used in the ER for acute acetaminophen poising. Also used in the respiratory field in attempts to break up excessive mucus, called mucomist. It is NOT a patient favorite as it smells like rotten eggs due to the sulfur content of cysteine.

Yep like others said for future runs you can said them together!

I use CEL TUDCA for liver support. I've read what some people say about not taking it with alcohol but I rarely drink. When I do, I just don't take my nighttime dosage of it.

We are temporarily out of stock of it, but you should look at Liver Assist XT for liver support purposes. It has NAC, Milk Thistle, Curcumin, & Artichoke in it. Link: Invalid Link Removed

For the X-Gels dosage, some people say to use it for 50 consecutive workout days. In my opinion, it should be used on off days as well to keep levels steady in the body. I can understand both sides, but that's my opinion and the way I would personally use it.

Hey brotha, appreciate the recommendation and the feedback. I bought 3 bottles of x-gels and I guess I'll go with the everyday usage. Would it still be 50 consecutive days? or 2 bottles (i see all kinds of posts lol)

Will definitely throw in liver support XT on my next order.

Not gonna lie, Focus XT is calling my name too.

I use to drink often and this was the reason I only used nac during this time. There's a possibility for tudca to exacerbate liver damage when taken before alcohol use and so it should be supplemented after. The problem with this is that I drank somewhat often and tudca has a week long or something near half life... So you drink one day then take tudca then drink 2 days later it's still heavily in your system.

Liver Assist XT is a great product and an awesome value. I think you'll be pleased.

Focus XT is great also - very versatile and something I use most every day.

For X-Gels, I would do 50 consecutive days. Some people do run it longer but 50 days seems to be the average. If you're enjoying it and very pleased with it when the 50 days are up, imo you can keep going for another bottle if you want to.

My usual recommendation is:

Start at 4 caps, see how that treats you. Go up to 6 if you tolerate it.

If you workout 4+ times per week, then workout days only should be fine.

If you workout fasted, then dose approx 45 mins out from a workout. If you eat beforehand, i recommend warming up then smashing some capsules back during warmup.

There is a large thread buried here somewhere called The Arachdonic Acid Help Guide that has some good info buried in it!

Appreciate the feedback , found the thread and will read through it!

Should i be using my regular pre-workout with the ARA or would it be advisable to still just try x-gels alone first?

Some people would say to try X-Gels by itself first to see how you like it solo but if you already like and know what to expect from your pre-workout, then I would continue on with my pre personally. I think X-Gels + Super Swole or VasoForce XT or Rush is an incredible combination.

I'm going to be stacking my X-Gels and AE very soon, just waiting on my bottle :D. Is the combination of products enough for a preworkout? I have some pump product from Alpha Lion, however I'm going to be taking GMS with my ArA and AE. I'll most likely start my stack without the Alpha Lion, but would it be okay to introduce it later on?

That should be fine.

If you're going for pumps, I would encourage you to check out VasoForce XT. Great feedback, works great, and is an absolutely loaded formula for pumps.

Here's the link to the write up if you want to check it out:
