Tolerable Upper Limit is at 20mg for Boron. Combining would be fine but you would probably just need to be cognizant of any in other products (like a multivitamin although most don't have very much at all, some do have 2-3mg though or maybe more). It also probably wouldn't be the end of the world if you took too much, it would take a decent bit to be an issue (I'd still stay under 20 and don't take my opinion as actual advice ha).

That is probably a crap term, but it is more so beneficial if you have a deficiency. 3mg is the probably the minimal effective dose for these kind of things. 6mg should be plenty to get things "going right". 10mg is often used do to a particular study, but again 6mg IMO is plenty as a compliment in a stacked formula like this.
