Did You Know?
- According to a study published in the medical journal ‘Vaccine’, it is estimated that employees in the United States miss up to 111 million workdays annually due to the flu, resulting in $16.3 billion in lost earnings each year.
- It is estimated that between lost work, doctor visits, and cold medicine that the common cold costs the US economy about $40 billion a year.
------------------------------------------------------------------

Some Things to Think About:
We live in a fast-paced world where even a day or two of sickness can cost us more than ever before in terms of work, productivity, athletic and academic goals and achievements, our personal lives, and more.

For those that work out, think about the countless hours that are spent on proper exercise and nutrition in hopes of achieving the greatest gains possible; think about how hard those gains are to achieve but yet how quickly they can go away due to times of sickness.

Use Immune Support XT to help support healthy immune function throughout the year.

Key Ingredients:

Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants, working to protect the body from free radicals.

As a water-soluble vitamin, Vitamin C is not stored in the body and must be regularly replaced through diet or supplementation (the body cannot make it on its own).

Vitamin C is commonly used to help support improved immune function and to help prevent and treat symptoms of the common cold. Research has also shown that Vitamin C supplementation can reduce the duration of colds by anywhere between 5% and 21%.

Vitamin C has been shown to reduce incidence of colds by up to a remarkable 50% among people undergoing heavy stress, such as soldiers and athletes.

Zinc:
Zinc is a mineral that is important to the body in so many ways. Zinc exerts a powerful antioxidant activity and is most well-known for its immune system benefits in helping the body fight off invading bacteria and viruses and potentially shortening the duration of the common cold.

In addition to these powerful immune enhancing benefits, zinc may also help heal wounds, support normal growth, promote healthy skin and vision, is involved in the synthesis of collagen in bone tissue, promotes healthy cardiovascular and neurological function, and has potent anti-aging benefits.

Zinc is also an essential component of superoxide dismutase, one of the body’s most powerful natural antioxidants.

Elderberry Extract (Sambucus nigra):
Elderberry extract is commonly used to help prevent and ease cold and flu symptoms and has a very long and storied history of use.

Elderberry extract, commonly known but its Latin name, Sambucus nigra, has traditionally been used as a winter remedy and to promote health and well-being; and in recent years, researchers have proven its efficacy in clinical trials, with many experts recommending Elderberry to help prevent and ease cold and flu symptoms.

Elderberry extract has been used for centuries to help support the immune system, especially during the winter months or when experiencing extra stress. More and more people have started using Elderberry year round to help boost the immune system which makes sense as the level of stress in most people’s daily lives continues to increase.

Elderberry is packed with many naturally occurring vitamin and antioxidant constituents including rutin, quercetin (flavonoids), and anthocyanins that are known to provide complimentary immune-supportive benefits.

In addition to its potential immune enhancing benefits, Elderberry is also commonly used for sinus pain, sciatica, nerve pain (neuralgia), chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), and to help ease inflammation.

Black Currant:
Black Currant (Ribes nigrum) contains a high concentration of Vitamin C, antioxidants, polyphenols, anthocyanins, and gamma-linoleic acid (GLA). These provide potent antioxidant protection and may help strengthen the immune system, soothe sore throats, ease flu symptoms, and much more.

Black Currant has a wide range of properties including antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant, and more. In addition to its potential immune enhancing benefits, Black Currant is also commonly used to for a variety of issues including helping reduce eye fatigue and discomfort, muscle fatigue, cholesterol, oxidative stress, improved blood flow, gastrointestinal health, and more. Black Currant may even help promote the healthy growth of hair, skin, and nails. Also due to its gamma-linoleic acid and anthocyanin content, it has potent anti-inflammatory properties and may help ease inflammation in the body.

Interesting note:
For a long time, Black Currants were called ‘the forbidden fruit’ in the United States because they were banned from being grown because they were thought to negatively impact the logging industry. Because of this, many Americans missed out on the benefits of these nutritious berries while those in the United Kingdom used them for flavoring, juices, jams, and much more.

Elderberries and Black Currant both provide potent antioxidant action which makes them a great combination for supporting the immune system which is why both are included in Immune Support XT.

Olive Leaf Extract:
Olive leaf is one of the most popular and widely known supplements for helping support healthy immune function. It has potent antioxidant benefits and antiviral benefits.

The Olive Leaf Extract used in Immune Support XT is standardized to a minimum 20% Oleuropein. Oleuropein has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antiparasitic, and antioxidant benefits and is the key constituent in Olive Leaf that has been identified as delivering its health benefits and standardization assures specific measurable levels of the important compounds needed in order to achieve desired results.

In addition to its antiviral and immune enhancing benefits, Olive Leaf Extract may also help support blood sugar regulation, fat loss, thyroid function, and much more.

Interesting note:
Ever hear of the Mediterranean diet and its host of benefits for overall improved health? The Mediterranean diet is heavy on olive oil. Olive Leaf Extract, just as the name sounds, is derived from the leaves of olives and the type used in Lean Edge is standardized for a very high concentration of Oleuropein, which is the main constituent of Olive Leaf Extract that is responsible for many of its associated health benefits.

Echinacea (Std. to min 4% Echinacosides):
Echinacea is a plant whose roots and leaves have traditionally been used for medicinal purposes and is one of the most popular and commonly used herbs used to help promote healthy immune function.

Echinacea is commonly used either in response to or for daily prevention of the common cold. Some studies have shown that Echinacea can reduce the odds of developing a cold by up to 58% and reduce the duration by 1 to 4 days.

Echinacea is widely used to help fight infections, especially the common cold and the flu. Echinacea has been identified as having anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiviral properties and as an immune strengthening agent. It has been shown to enhance the immune system and reduce many of the symptoms of colds, flu, and some other illnesses, infections, and conditions.

The Echinacea Extract used in Immune Support XT is standardized to a minimum 4% Echinacosides, the key constituent in Echinacea that has been identified as delivering its potent immune enhancing benefits and standardization assures specific measurable levels of the important compounds needed in order to achieve desired results.

In addition to its potential immune enhancing benefits, Echinacea may also be used to help control blood sugar, aid in healthy cell growth, support anxiety management, lower blood pressure, and reduce inflammation.

Grape Seed Extract:
Grape Seed Extract is rich in antioxidants, including phenolic acids, anthocyanins, flavonoids, and is one of the best known sources of oligomeric proanthocyanin complexes (OPC’s). OPC’s are a powerful antioxidant responsible for most of the benefits of grape seed extract.

Grape Seed Extract is commonly used to increase antioxidant levels in the body to help promote a healthy immune system to fight off bacterial and viral infections.

In addition to its potent immune enhancing benefits, the active constituents in Grape Seed Extract have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant protective benefits for several areas of the body and bodily processes. Grape Seed Extract can be used to help counteract the effects of free radicals and help reduce inflammation and may also have positive benefits on bone and joint health, improved collagen synthesis, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, cardiovascular health, blood flow, cognitive function, skin health, anti-aging benefits, protect against oxidative stress, and much more.

Looking forward to this. Such an underrated supplement category, despite illness (even moderate/mild illnesses) being so disruptive to normal routine, we tend to overlook things that can support our immune systems.

I picked up something with similar ingredients recently to try and help this winter. It seems to be helping, but it’s prop blend and it would be nice to have the trusted quality of SNS and a transparent blend of ingredients. 👍

There's always threads about "what would you like to see in so and so" and 98% of the companies are like, HAHA, we know better, anyhow we give you THIS.

But SNS actually puts in what we suggest. Pimp.

Need to get her a bottle of this, especially with my daughter coming home from pre school and bringing everything under the sun home (germ wise) we could use a little defense!

Curious how it will work for those who get sick or have weak immune systems in the winter months. I know some people get colds and the flu very easy, and how well this would help combat those issues.

I am at the tail end of a dieting phase, and the leaner I get the easier I get sick. The last thing I need to do is request off work for being down and out.

Looking forward to feedback.

We have thought about doing an anti-aging product or a couple options for anti-aging products. There are a couple of problems with that product category when trying to really make a product that is truly effective. 1) That product category means different things to different people so its deciding exactly what the product will target. 2) Because it can mean so many different things to different people, if you try to target a lot of different avenues and do it properly, you wind up with a product that may be a bit pricey if you don't cut corners.

I think its amazing how some people that are so focused on their gains and progress in the gym overlook their immune health; because its so easy to quickly lose hard earned gains from colds, flu, sinus infections, etc.

They do have Rhodiola + ash in Stress and Anxiety Support. Ash and Shilajit in M-test too.

I would be a fan of a full Adaptogenic mix. Shilajit, Rhodiola, Ash, Siberian Ginseng, etc.

To keep this on topic tho I think the Stress and Anxiety + Immune Support combo is amazing for a wellness stack. Keep stress down and help the immune system in a couple ways could be HUGELY beneficial for some people!

And I absolutely agree - Immune Support XT and Stress & Anxiety Support are a great wellness stack. Many people don't realize just how much being stressed can compromise the immune system.

I posted in another thread, but Paractin has some decent immune boosting properties too.

Super SNS Health Stack of Immune Support, Stress and Anxiety Support, and Joint Support XT should keep someone training without nearly any complications to factors of life that may inhibit productive sessions.

I also like the Mushrooms with this so hurry up on those SNS Peak O2 caps (I had to buy more from elsewhere since I am still waiting!).

I think we are most likely going to stick to offering it as a single ingredient capsule form. We played with the idea of putting it in the Daily Use Ergogenic but it went from great tasting to tolerable and for a product like that, I want it to be great tasting. Plus, even though some people love it, its not that popular ingredient overall so many people wouldn't be happy with the price increase it would cause.

We have the labels and everything done for the Peak 02 caps. That's one of those cases of our own new stuff just bumping other of our own new stuff back. I hope to have it out within the next 4 to 6 weeks. We've learned the hard way in the past that when release too many new things at once or close to the same time, something always gets overshadowed.

Funny that you said that. The original idea for Stress & Anxiety Support started with an adaptogen product named Adapt XT and then evolved into Stress & Anxiety Support. I would certainly be open to doing another type of adaptogen down the road if the demand is there but Stress & Anxiety Support really does cover the bases very well.

Short answer yes.

Long answer is you probably could get similar benefits or tailor individual mushrooms more towards your goals (more reishi for immunity and health, more lions mane if looking for nootropic benefit, more cordyceps if looking soley for workout boost, etc.).

But sometimes it is hard to source these mushrooms and given the cost, the actual research backing it, and my personal anecdotes I am more than willing to just stick with PeakO2 as I notice when I add it in versus not having it.

I mean Ash, Rhodiola, and Bacopa are like the holy trinity when it comes to adaptogens, so it really is more than just "stress" support, but that name works so well for what that formula does that I dig it.

Thanks. And yeah, if we did a different adaptogen at any point, I have a feeling that the 3 primary ingredients would be the same as with Stress & Anxiety Support. And with the Health Series line, we try to go more for naming products according to actual uses to make them easy to identify versus fancy names. It may hurt us some in terms of trendy marketing, but we really want to help people and provide them with products that work and that they can use on an ongoing regular basis.

I made the mistake of dumping PeakO2 powder into a glass of water; it did not mix well at all. But I find if I mix the dry powder with another powdered supplement, like a PWO, or aminos, or Gatorade powder, etc. it mixes much better. Still throws off the taste a bit, but man, it was terrible trying to mix the powder without adding it to something else. I could definitely see why people would want caps for this stuff.

I did this, and like you said, it threw the taste off. I’m usually not one to care much for taste, but it threw it off too much for my liking lol.

I’m hoping the caps are 1g, but not sure if that’s possible. I really like the 4g dose, so if they’re 500mg caps, that’ll be quite a few pills. Not a huge deal, just thinking out loud.
