Our dear thebigt passed away :(

I haven’t been as involved on the forum as of late so I (regrettably) missed this. We didn’t speak often but he was always good towards me. I really can’t believe the amount of losses we have been facing in our fitness family. RIP, T 💪🏻
 
I'm new to the board but just wanted to say sorry for your guys lost. I did a search of his username and from what I saw he played a big role in this forum. I'm sure his absents will be felt for a while.

Man, rough year, Puccah, BigT, etc.
I joined here in 2006 so knew him via his posts only, but seemed a very good guy.

Man this hurts!! I haven’t been on hear near as much as usual since Puccah passed. To hear about BigT, is hard! He really was such a great guy and obviously impacted so many lives! I know I always enjoyed talking to him! It’s great to have that reassurance knowing that he’s in heaven though! Thank you @Danes for letting us know! I will be praying for you, his wife, family and friends!

He is one of the best of us for sure. Always supportive. A rock solid member of this community. He is loved, and missed.

You are right this happened the same week, I assume something happened a day or 2 before which led to the incident 4-5days later

Unless it happened on vacation which I’m not sure .. regardless suxs
 
Definitely had a few convos with Big T over the years, been a member for 15 years now and probably lurked for longer.

Very sad news, you forget how quickly time flies. Just by reading all the comments, you can see how well respected he was.

My condolences to his family.
 
I just saw this. May God comfort his family. I only knew him from this site, but he was one of the nicest people here. He always had only good things to say. Damn, man. This board absolutely took a loss when his time on this Earth ended.

I'm trying to be better about this as well, my dads 70 this year and mother's 64. They're both completely fine but I've seen the difference over the past few years. I pick up my last living grandparent (90) every Thursday for the past 6 weeks to have dinner and spend the night because she still lives at home and I know the day is coming. It's the only time she gets to leave the house. Sometimes she doesn't even remember that she was at the house the previous week lol. My kids just sit and listen to her tell the same5-6 stories every week. 😂😂😂 Good times
 
My father died at 47, my brother died at 47, my bro-inlaw just died at 57, so yes, life is short, enjoy it while you can..
 
Yeah it truly does show you the importance of showing your family how much they are loved.
I think a lot of good people truly love their family, but the busyness of life distracts many from showing love unintentionally. Love is really expressed through action and showing our family and friends they are loved.
 
This was a school assignment for my 7 year old grand daughter, the assignment was tell us something you have been told 100 times and illustrated it. needless to say I am so proud of this and it brings tears of joy to my eyes!!

thats so awesome

i had my kid taken away from me (3years old), each day we facetime and i tell him and make him say "i love you daddy" ..so he never forgets me .. hopefully, breaks my heart at time

but yeah we all need to say this more often to people around us, life is too damn short and noone knows the future.

Good post.
A hug and telling your loved ones that you love them is important. But try to express it in actions whenever, however possible. It gives more depth and is a longer lasting expression of love.

TheBigT and I used to talk a lot when I spent more time here , maybe 2007-2015 or so. Hes the guy that convinced me to do 75 mgs protodol instead of 50 or 100 mgs, I was having anxiousness over the dose and followed his posts or log about it and talked with him. We used to rep greens to one another and message one another. Hes always said kind words . His personality made things much more pleasant here .

I honestly felt a sudden lump in my throat as i read this, as i have been away from the boards for some time, obviously didnt know him in person, but we did exchange messages here and there, i always liked his character, a guy his age talking the way he did

He certainly was one of the "main" characters around here.

wow very sorry to read this, have been lurking on here on and off, gaining information and laughing at some comments and always saw BIGT's username, never had the chance to meet him but he always told it like it was and had some good advice. Cheers !
 
Man this makes me so sad to hear. I’ve had so many conversations with him over the last 15+ years. Long before AM forums I met him on other forums. I’ve been locked out of my STOPSTALKING account for awhile and I recently made this new one and wanted to get active again.

Prayers for his family.

Yeah it’s still such a bummer to think about him being gone :(
 
Haven't been here for a while...what a shocking news...so sad...I have talked to him on number of occasions. Never met him in person, but feel like I just lost a good friend. I do believe he is in a much better place now. You are greatly missed thebigT
 
Ugh this kills me. BigT and I had many conversations over the years going back to my earlier days on this board. RIP buddy
