I agree with you both, and I appreciate the suggestive responses. I've decided that I won't be working out today, PERIOD. No cardio, no abs, no weights. Tomorrow, I'll be doing at least one sessions of cardio plus abs and calves, but I will not be hitting the weights again until Thursday's already plannet out workout. Today will literally be my first day OFF from any form of exercise in I believe 3 weeks. Even carb-load days have included a run or a cardio session .. I got to listen to my body this time around.
Also, I won't refrain from my diet. I won't add any carbs, nor will I change any meals or treat myself with 'just ONE' of anything out of the ordinary. Truthfully, my glycogen storages are already significantly depleted. I haven't enjoyed carbs since Saturday around Noon, prior to my Saturday's workout. I'm getting my MCT oil, fish oil and some more hawthorn berry in today. The MCT is ideal for a diet such as mine as it helps burn fat for energy once my glycogen storages are low, and I'm hoping I'll be able to cut back on my stims when I get my Beta Alanine (thank you volcomX311!), as that always helps my endurance, focus and stamina in the gym in a non-stim manner. Fact of the matter is that I never felt like this while on the IntraStack, as it was the BA that kept me pushing myself, as opposed to a bunch of caffeine, yohimbine and so on and so forth ..
3 weeks no rest, wow, and you've been kick'n your own @$$ physically and nutritionally. A physical rest would be a great idea.
Your BA should be there soon, I sent it last Thursday
it is interesting because I am starting to think that I am obsessed with working out, in a very unhealthy way.
I have had this massive flu that has kept me from working out for 3 days. Prior to it, I was thinking to myself when the last time I've had a break was.
It has been atleast a good 3 months since I've taken some time off. It just occured to me that I've been working out 6-7 days/week either cardio or weight training. It isn't even necessarly about looking good or getting into shape, just my workouts in the evening is what gets me through the day.
Ahhhhh, got my Beta Alanine in, and cardio became a breeze after a couple minutes on the bike ! Threw about 6 grams BA with 4 scoops Xtend (orange) and 30 grams of whey protein in 3/4 gallon cold water. I'm still enjoying the drink half an hour after completing my workout. Love the Beta !
So you mix whey, xtend, and now BA into a big container and drink it throughout your workout? I've thought about throwing a scoop of whey into my shake but never heard of anyone actually doing it.
i got into texas A&M norwegian. although tis through the blinn team. looks like i found a new WO buddy for next year. haha jk
yeah man im excited.thanksdo you like it there? i have heard mixed but i think it would be a good fit for me because it seems more like a "we dont take ****" school.
Lol Yeah this sounds like my school sort of but not as extreme. They have the big trucks and **** like that but not the hats as much. The people here are weird like that to. They have all know each other for the most part their whole lives(small towns) and here I come from tampa fl and these people are rude as hell and act like they are the sh#t(when they aren't).have you ever been to dallas? My kindof girlfriend goes to southern methodist there.. I thought everyone their was really cool and hotties everywhere( I could of just been with the right people).Thats the only place I have been to in texas though. The reason i say this is I was going to go to am for meteorology and glad I am not going to know.lol Carry on with this cardio rich log!!!I'm not the right person to ask about A&M, man.. I've got NO maroon spirit, I simply chose the best public school in the state. Let's face it, that's the truth ! And that Aggie ring will yield life-long connections which really enticed me further. I got in to UT San Antonio (who doesn't?) out of high school, but I bailed on it and went to Blinn instead because I chose A&M over both UT and Southwest Texas State (DUH!). To be honest, I regret not aiming for UT ! Austin is my kind of town, and they're my kind of people. Aggies are .... well, they're Aggies. No if's, and's or but's .. There's a SEVERE amount of spirit, too much too often, the maroon poison is all across town (literally). You'll never catch a break from big, jacked up trucks with smoky exhausts and hichs with cowboy boots, 12 inch wallets sticking out their back pocket, and belt buckles the size of a DVD case. Nauseating at times, but the fact that everything is central here is what keeps me going. You don't got to go far to get where you want to go, and it's really a nice looking city.
Not a day goes by where I don't want to walk up to one of the many stereotypical frat wannabe's walking around with their head held up way too high or a cowboy and just ...... let them know how I feel![]()
yeah man that school is 50K a year though. f to thatLol Yeah this sounds like my school sort of but not as extreme. They have the big trucks and **** like that but not the hats as much. Congrats on the new PR on the deadlift. That's a lot of weight. I can't imagine how ripped your looking. What day is your competition?
I also know how you feel about the full body workouts. I like the ideas and science behind McDonald's workouts, but sometimes you miss the insane pumps you can get doing one part a day.
Also I've finally read through almost all of the UD 2.0. It's definitely a good read and I think I might have to give it a try this summer.
Keep up the good work man.
A random questioin for ya'll ..
Does your gym have a policy regarding the minimum temperature they have to meet inside of the gym ? Mid-way through yesterday's workout, I was pissed off cus I couldn't get and attain the pump, even though I was only doing 90-12 seconds in between most sets, because it was ****!ng 64 degrees in that b!tch !! I went to a Gold's employee and asked to see the manager, I just said straight up, 'I'm tired of this bullshit, I'm sweating while working out, and freezing by the time I begin my next set cus of the ****!ng temperature!'
Anyway .. Anyone else run into this issue ?
Day 37: AM Cardio
Stairmaster; 50 minutes on Fat Burning; Level 9
QUOTE]
Sweet, that's what I do. The Fat Burning for 45-60 min, but I'm only around intensity 6 to 8 (depending how gangster I feel that day). I usually start on 6, but then I ALWAYS get AMPED out my brain once I see the sweat build up and drip off my body, then I bump the intensity up to look even more Rambo and make my body rain.
Also, fricken amazing job on the dead lift :clap2:. I've never even tried 545 yet. Great job, that's impressive.

Thank you, sir ! What can I say, your log has literally inspired me .. (referring to the deadlifts as well as today's cardio session.) Man, I held my hand carefully on the rail, and within 10 minutes, I had sweat dripping from every finger, and after 15 minutes, I felt the sweat just run down my legs. Burned 730 calories within those 50 minutes, and let me tell you, I feel 'relieved' already, got rid of some unwanted water/bloat, and got to go all out on the cardio. I drenched my hooded sweatshirt in no time.
- I'm about to take 20mg of adderal, and an addition 10-20 mg in about 3 hours, because I've got a major research paper I've got to head to the library to take care of. I hate adderal in the sense that it makes me crave 'more' of something afterwards, and I always sweat balls and my heart rate goes up .. but in these time of need, it's necessary.. I love the focus, but I normally crash, so whether or not I'll be able to throw another cardio session in for the evening I'm not yet sure of..
I feel ya there man, last year when I lived in florida I ran all the time outdoors..usually after work(like 9pm) I'm moving back there cause I miss it. Great log man, good depth, and updates.Day 37: PM Cardio
35 minute run outside; few things feel better than to just throw on some kicks when the sun's about to go down, and take off with no said direction . . .
As with many others, the stomach/oblique area tends to be the most stubborn .. By now, it's just annoying how I'm not getting to where I want to be at no matter how hard I diet and how much cardio I do ..
I mentioned my interest in Atomic Meltdown for tanning purposes as well as it's fat-burning effects (similar ingredients as Napalm?) .. I am interested in getting more tan as well as more cut, so ought I get Napalm and go all out, or will Atomic Meltdown help significantly ?
Take your runs shirtless... CALI STYLE. I used to go on remote hikes shirtless or find an empty football field and do HIIT shirtless to kill two birds in one stone, tan plus cardio. But I don't know if the Texas atmosphere is the same as Southern California's.

Yeah, Atomic Meltdown would help. It's got our Napalm formula in it. Even better would be to use Atomic Meltdown stacked with Napalm though. That way, you could apply the AM pre-tanning and the Napalm one other time in the day(depending on when you tan). Ideally, you want to be applying Napalm twice a day.
F@#king awesome bro. Been keeping up and finally decided I post some positive feedback for you. Ill be ready to start my dieting down Monday. Thanks for all the help, still have some questions for you when you get time. Hit me up, and goodluck on your test.
Julian
Crazy week at school bro, don't worry I'll read what I missed and hit you up tomorrow.
