Me and my partner are trying to get pregnenant. Im 28 years old on trt for over a year now. (30mg test cyp eod. No hcg no ai)

I have hcg and 25mg enclomiphene citrate on hand but im unsure if i should get off trt to try or just take the hcg and try without getting off trt. Has anyone been in this position. My hpta has been shut down for over a year with no hcg stimulating my tesicles. Anyone have any protocol advice for me for regaining fertility to get my partner pregnant?

I would discuss this with a specialist. We can give some advice but there may be tests that need to be done.

Find a specialist who knows their stuff bro. It can be done one trt and it can be done coming off. HMG and HCG are the things you need a specialist to have a working knowledge of.

Hi, I’m a specialist.

Joking a side, I was in the same boat as you some years ago. I had been on TRT for 3,5 yrs and my sperm was “too low to measure”. It was frustrating so I came off and started Clomid at 50mg ed and HCG at 250-500iu’s 2x a week. I think (I don’t remember correctly) I only did 2 weeks of 50mg Clomid but continued with 25mg ed for another 6 weeks. HCG I only did the first 4 weeks.

After those 8 weeks my wife got pregnant. :)

My Dr helped me through this but he was pretty clueless so most my dosing was from my own research but he was helpful and gave me everything I needed.

Discuss this with a specialists. Not forum bros.
I got all my info from the internet and forum bros when I got off and wanted another baby, few Dr’s know what to do in this situations. But, it definitely helps to have a helpful Dr.

Yeah I don’t think there’s any magic you need from a doctor here, besides getting you access to pharmaceutical grade drugs ideally perhaps. And of course just testing the quality of your loads.

Stay on and push a bunch of HCG and HMG. You will probably need Exemestane to help control the extra estrogen, and Proviron can help give you libido & function, increase ejaculate volume, and generally help prevent gyno with the higher aromatization of the first 2 drugs.

Or you can take HCG, come off, and use Clomid.

Injectable L-Carnitine at just ~200mg daily will improve sperm morphology & motility over time due to improvements in mitochondrial health. This will take some months, but so will the rest of this process.

There’s various herbs you can take for natural test and sperm and semen increases of course, but generally drugs work better. Just make sure nutritional essentials like zinc are getting met.

Also, I’m not a specialist. Ask a bro, get a bro answer. But I have successfully & intentionally sired a child in between anabolic cycles. And it’s a simple system from the male side. Get your balls working healthy/regrown with HCG no matter what, and get your FSH up naturally with PCT with Clomid or synthetically on TRT with HMG administration.

Proviron at 100mg can help if you do stay on TRT, for 75% of guys who are only mildly oligospermic. But you can’t get that prescribed in the US so you will need black market and it’s fairly expensive at $2-4/day probably for that dose. It also can hurt lipids a bit while using.

In The Same boat ...

Doc told me today he would "probably" tell me to come off Test and begin HCG. Told me its likely a 9 month process since my sperm count is zero. I have been on test for 2 years.

I would like to stay on the test -- is that a bad idea?

So you took the HCG at 250 or 500 a week (assuming 250 per injection?) and you did that for a month?
So I was on for 1 year and just got off. Im feeling pretty decent at the moment, I havent worked out at all though, dont have th energy, but not too upset about it. Been about a month or so since my last injection

enclomephne 25 mg every day, D3, 5000 IU, Sustain Alpha 5 pumps a day, and Krill Oil.

It was 6 yrs ago so I don’t exactly remember, but I think it was 500 2x week for 4 weeks (after I got off the Test) and Clomid for 8 weeks. If I remember correctly my test level was in the high 300’s after the first month and in the low 600’s after the second month (I was in the low 900’s on TRT) and shortly after my wife got pregnant.

It’s up to you if you want to try HCG with your TRT, it might work, it wasn’t worth to me to try it because we already tried for awhile already so the decision to get off was easy to me. I’m back on TRT now though, I’m done having kids so no plans on getting off.

How long had you been running gear before you started TRT? Just curious

I injected 250 today ... i have read that 250 EOD is sufficient and mitigates large E fluctuations?... any feedback on that?

I have only done research on HCG relating to general hormone levels and not as much related to fertility ... appreciate the feedback
HCG will raise your E, how much is individual but I remember my E was really high after my 8 week “PCT”.

a few more questions

- do you still use HCG as a part of your TRT
- is there a real disadvantage of keeping the low dose TRT test going when adding HCG for fertility?
1, No, I’m done having kids so I don’t feel any need for it.
2, idk, I would think it’ll be harder to get your sperm count up if you still on test. I didn’t want to wast any time so for me it was easy to get off. It’s up to you if you want to gamble but just remember that you can get back on after if you have second thoughts about getting off trt.
