Just want to say thanks to Bobo... Here's my before and after pics. The first one was taken on June 20 of this year and the second was taken on Sept 18 (3 months). My wife and I have been very happy with my my progress. Work has been a pain in my side during the last 3 months and has caused me to miss meals and generally prevented me from following Bobo's plan to the letter. Even with that, i still made good progress and will continue to follow my diet/routine 'til bulking time. If anyone is still not sure about Bobo, trust me you won't regret it.

I will be going to get a hydro test done tomorrow nite to check my bodyfat %. It should be an improvement over what it was 3 months ago. I'll post my test results the day after tomorrow.

Sikdogg,

man i have to tell ya those pictures played with my head a bit. You
should have someone else take a picture of you so the mirror does not make it look
like you switched your arms around  . By the way great progress bro, looks like you
put some size on as well as leaning out. Bobo is proving himself more and more evryday.
What BF% are you now?

Thanks for the compliments guys... means alot.

Deano, i'm going to get my bf tested after work today and i'll post the results here. I started around 22% if i recall correctly. I'll know for sure after the test as the printout shows all my past test results. I think i definitely put on more size although it hard to measure since i lost around 20-25 lbs. I think what's more important is that i look bigger now than when i started.

Perhaps I need help with the math. I calculate that he lost 2lbs of lean mass and 17lbs of fat.

Start 201lbs - 158lbs lean - 43lbs fat - 21.5%
Now 182lbs - 156lbs lean - 26lbs fat - 14.4%

Please corect me if I'm wrong but even if my numbers are correct Great Job! congrats on your progress!

You are not accounting for water and/or glycogen which could easily skew the results.

Its simple, he gained strenght while on a progrem that is not geared towards such while losing 7% bf.

So you tell me....

Sometimes the numbers aren't the whole story.

I thought the water and/or glycogen were measured as lean body mass.

One can gain strength and not gain LBM.

You are correct! The numbers are not the whole story :)

The truth is in the pictures or mirror. I think you both have done a great job :) Keep up the good work!

But you have different amounts during different conditions. THis is also one of the reasons for the error % in most bf testing procedures.

One can gain strenght and not much LBM when the training is geared towards CNS stimulation (and the proper calories). THis program isn't even close to that. But you can't do this when you gradually cut calories over a 3 month peroid. In essence what he did was gain initial LBM in the first few weeks then maintain everything over the long haul.

Its simple, if you lose muscle, you lose strength. There is no way around it.

The numbers are a guide, not an absolute conclusion.
