Hey guys,

This is going to be a long post so I will try and lay it out the best that I can. I have been reading up on AndroHard and Dermacrine for a while now and was thinking about running them in the spring towards the end of my cut. I am 31 years old, started lifting in middle school, and have only used natural supplements so this would be my first run with PH's. Still going back and forth if I want to cross that line or not but in the mean time have been doing a lot of research and reading up on different things.

My first question is, generally how effective are DHEA based supplements/PH's for someone my age assuming my levels are already normal/where they should be? I heard they work well for people over 40 but not so much for the young guys and I kinda fall in between. This leads me to the blood work part of my post. Recently, I just went to a doctor as a new patient because I needed routine blood work because I haven't been to the doctor since high school. So when I am there I ask him if a blood test shows testosterone levels and such (fully knowing it doesn't unless he puts an order in for it) and he immediately got a bit stand offish and agitated and says, "I am not checking your testosterone....especially at your age." So I calmly say oh ok, but when is a good age to get it checked out....around 40 or so? Again he says, "I don't do it then, I don't do it ever, I think it's dangerous and I will just leave it at that." I say oh I am not looking to get TRT but ok. Anyway, I think I may need to find a better doc because at the very least he should have asked me if I was having any type of symptoms or inquired why I was asking. For all he knows I could be impotent, I could have used something in the past that messed me up, etc, but he didn't even ask.

So, as a result of that I started looking into getting private blood work done to settle my curiosity and to also see if I am a good candidate for these products. A popular lab was recommended to me on the forums but unfortunately they do not work with NJ due to some state laws. A couple others I found are the same way. Wondering what labs you guys recommend (not sure if you can post names). I did find one place that I think would work in NJ although I read one thing that said they don't so not entirely sure. Their one test is really complete and checks for a lot of the stuff I am interested in but its $575 so I was wondering if I could cut it down a bit and wanted to know what you guys thought were the most important to get checked.

  • Testosterone, Free with Total
  • Estrogens, Total
  • Estradiol
  • DHEA-S
  • Progesterone
  • Pregnenolone
  • Dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
  • FSH/LH
  • Cortisol
  • PSA
  • Free PSA
  • % Free PSA
  • Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1)
  • Insulin
    Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)

and then all the other stuff is the basic stuff I had checked already, so ideally I would make a custom test and just take what I want out of what is above.

Alright, now back to the products. I like them because they seem mild enough with very limited sides, yet they might give me that extra edge I haven't experienced yet. After reading logs on these products, I would be thrilled to be able to cut down BF and add a couple pounds in the process. The main goal is to get super cut again and If I do decide to use these products it will only be towards the end of my cut when I am nearly where I want to be. I know these will cause suppression so I have been putting together a proper PCT which I will ask you guys what you think but I was wondering how suppressed are we talking? I know it varies, but are we talking testicle shrinkage type of suppression? As for my cycle/PCT I was thinking:

Dermacrine + AndroHard for 8 weeks (Dermarcrine as my test base)

On Cycle Support - KingsGuard but open to other suggestions if you guys think something may be better. Biggest concern is keeping BP in check and avoiding any cycle supports with Saw Palmetto.

PCT: Torem at 120/100/60/30 (Torem seems to be the safest in terms of side and apparently works really well? I am not entirely set on the dosing though, hoping you all could give some input. But if you guys definitely think Clomid or Nova will be better let me know. So anyway, Torem, Sustain Alpha, Muscle Gelz AndroShred, BLR Rebirth, Mtest, and TrueShred (although TrueShred also includes 7 Keto as does Androshred so not sure). Might be a bit overkill but money won't be an issue for this run. Also, I am not sure if I will have to up calories to keep any gains I make or if I will be fine continuing to cut, hence the TrueShred. I was eyeing up TrueShred for a while before stumbling across Dermacrine and AndroHard....but maybe after the cycle I won't need to cut down any further...guess it will depend on where I am at. I was also looking at a stim fat burner Alpha Lean 7 but not sure if you would run stims during a PCT due to possible cortisol increases?

Ok, so I think I covered it all. Like I said, I am not entirely positive I am ready to turn in my Natty card; however, if I do these seem like a good and fairly safe way to start off. I figured I would post now seeing as I want to jump on any potential Black Friday Sales and would love to have everything lined up in advance. My basic blood work came back perfect except for creatinine levels which were a little high but after some research it seems that is normal if you are supplementing with creatine and doesn't actually mean your kidneys are in trouble so I was pretty happy with it. So, with my numbers being great I would be in good shape to start a cycle (although, at the same time I would hate to throw a perfectly good bill of health out of whack lol....another personal decision I need to make). Only thing I really need to watch is my BP as it can tend to get a little high once and a while. I was 120/82 at the docs....my bottom number likes to creep up a bit and I would definitely like to get it down under 80. So, I will leave a couple CLIFFS at the bottom because this was a long A$$ post. I appreciate anyone who decided to read the whole thing and anyone who gives me some insight, thanks!

    CLIFFS:

Is 31 a decent age to see anything good out of AndroHard and Dermacrine?

What kind of suppression are we talking about?

What is a good place to get a private lab blood test in NJ?

What are the optimal things I should order on my blood test in regards to Test and a potential cycle?

Does my cycle, on cycle support, and PCT look decent?

Hey bud

I ran the same cycle earlier this year just after i turned 31. First off, there's not much suppression, if any at all (not that i noted). I did use clomid for my pct at 40/40/20/20 for 4 weeks. I didn't run any cycle support or anything else for pct. The clomid served me really well. I didn't do any bloods before or after, which might have been a mistake, but i wasn't in the position to spend the money at that stage. I'll be honest, i wasn't super happy with the run, i was looking to add a bit of strength and a bit of size, but this didn't really happen, i didn't really see any impact on strength. I did change my training times from evenings to mornings during the run, so from past experience i know that impacts my strength levels. For your goals, i think you might like the run, i did lose a good amount of weight and fat in the process, without doing a crazy amount of cardio or changing my diet a lot, so i think you might enjoy it.

Is 31 a decent age to see anything good out of AndroHard and Dermacrine?

Yes. Androhard is a good starter PH.

What kind of suppression are we talking about?

I ran with very light PCT and had no issues

What is a good place to get a private lab blood test in NJ?

Quest can do the tests. If you can have Dr run. With insurance it’s a well visit

What are the optimal things I should order on my blood test in regards to Test and a potential cycle?

Free test and overall test

Does my cycle, on cycle support, and PCT look decent?

Looks good.

For all he knows I could be impotent, I could have used something in the past that messed me up, etc, but he didn't even ask.
First, normal doctors and normal pharmacies do not like to deal with testosterone--it's just way more troublesome than most other things, and they are generally not there to provide optional quality of life treatments. But any kind of hormone clinic should gladly accommodate you since they're not so normal.
Second, if you built a good physique without drugs then you almost certainly don't have low T, so it's understandable why he wouldn't even want to go there.
I was wondering if I could cut it down a bit and wanted to know what you guys thought were the most important to get checked.
I'd say keep it simple.
Total T, Free T, SHBG, E2
Complete Blood Count, Comprehensive Metabolic, Lipids, if you haven't done any in a while.
A popular lab was recommended to me on the forums but unfortunately they do not work with NJ due to some state laws.
Is this based on procedure location or are they strict about residency too? Roadtrip to PA or NY??
cortisol increases
expect this anytime you're under stress or calorie restriction. but under most circumstances its not going to cause big problems anyway.

Thanks for the response. A far as cortisol I was wondering if running a stimmed fat burner during pct might be a minor issue but most likely not I guess.

I don't see any issue doing this.
