Muscle Addiction Recovery Fix - Because Being Sore Sucks- Intro Thread

Got this coming in the post today. Excited to see how much it can help. I'm stood up all day at work, then go to the gym on my lunch break, so have the usual aches & pains associated with being on my feet alot.
Does it take a while to feel the effects?
Cheers

Recovery Fix starts working fast and the results should continue to get better.

Most of our feedback is that there is a very dramatic difference within the first week to two weeks but many people say they can tell a difference from when they first start taking it.

I cant belive i wrote Julian when its Conrad who is on the picture. I feel horrible about it.
BUT, Recovery Fix makes my body feel awesome.

Ive been taking this since monday and i dont know any other way of saying this so ill just say it. I feel awesome!

Now you have to buy an extra bottle so you can take a picture with Julian with it too haha.

I'm really glad that you're liking this and that its kicked in so fast for you.

I think that Recovery Fix is definitely not getting the attention that it deserves and that it is a great product.

Now, I have to admit - I'd love to be there with popcorn to see someone do that haha :ROFLMAO:

If im not there, ill be sure at the funeral

Thanks for the reply. That sounds very promising. Enhancing recovery isn't something I usually consider, as naive as that sounds. But with the extra soreness recently from work as well, the timing of this coming out is ideal.

I think a lot of people overlook the importance of recovery and/or only think of recovery in terms of soreness. And while it is important for decreased soreness, it's also extremely important for optimizing maximum muscle and strength gains as well.

If you think about it, 99% of the time that you hear of a professional athlete testing positive for a banned substance, the substance isn't for physique purposes, its for recovery purposes because at that level they know that they need to be able to improve recovery to be able to train harder, longer, and more intensely.

Yes good point. Its weird how easily we can get used to mild pain & soreness. Doesn't have to be like that though does it.

I agree. We get used to a certain level of aches and pains and they become our 'normal' and it can be super refreshing when we realize that it doesn't have to be that way. Kind of like @TheMrMuscle was saying about how he just feels great; and that's super impressive coming from someone with his long-term training background.

I think too that people underestimate the importance of proper recovery in that it isn't just about decreasing soreness; it's also about maximizing muscle gains and muscle retention to perform at your best and have the best results possible.

I'm not sure if you know my circumstance, but I was in a bad accident earlier this year. I broke my leg in three places and my shoulder and haven't been able to train. The closest thing I've come to a workout is having to undergo intensive physical therapy and pain has been a part of my day to day existence since February. Nothing is going to offset my pain completely because of the severity of my injuries, but Recovery Fix has been life changing in the sense of how much its helped with the muscle pain and soreness.

It's a great product and very cost effective - if one were to buy just two of the ingredients solo they'd likely pay more for them that for Recovery Fix. It's a very comprehensive formula.

How are most people dosing? Splitting the dosage, or all at once? I think the label is probably the best way depending on workout vs non workout days, but curious if others have found a different schedule works best

Most of the people that I know of are following the label directions and splitting the dosage up, but I would love to hear from people as to how they're taking it and how they're liking it best.

I wasn’t aware that this product existed. Putting together a new stack for 2025 and going to add this to the mix.

Excellent product. It’s one of our most popular ones with athletes.

Some retailers have it now but we are sold out direct. Hoping to have it back in in 4 to 6 weeks.

Recovery Fix – Because Being Sore Sucks!!

You Don’t Have to Be Miserably Sore to Get Results!
To some, being so sore that they can barely move or function in day-to-day life is like a badge of honor. But to most of us, being too sore to move is miserable and interferes with our day to day lives including our jobs, school, social situations, interactions with our children/families, and much more.

If you ask a lot of people why they don’t work out or people that have stopped working out why they don’t start back or are putting off starting back, a very common answer is that they don’t want to go through dealing with being sore all the time or so sore when they’re getting back used to it.

Some people fall into the trap of believing if they don’t get sore from a workout that the workout isn’t doing them any good or that they need to train harder. Some people even brag about how sore they get from a workout like its an accomplishment. Don’t be fooled into the mentality that you have to walk around miserably sore all the time to get results.

Let Recovery Fix help you today – Recovery Fix is a potent recovery catalyst backed by clinically researched key ingredients designed to help you recovery from your grueling workouts.

Train Harder, Longer, & More Intensely:
Recovery Fix is designed to support improved recovery between sets and between workouts to allow you to train harder, longer, and more intensely to maximize your results and help you reach your individual fitness goals.

It’s Not Just a Feeling:
Improving recovery isn’t just about the feeling of decreased soreness. Yes, that’s a nice plus for many of us, but improved recovery also allows us to optimize our results and our progress and get the most out of our workouts.

Do not Over-Train:
Recovery Fix is a potent recovery catalyst that may improve recovery between sets and between workouts and decrease soreness to a point where some people may think that their workouts are no longer effective. Do not over-train.

Improve Recovery Between Sets & Between Workouts
Train Harder, Longer, & More Intensely

Not Just for People that Work Out!

There are many people that experience muscle soreness on a regular basis for a variety of reasons – whether it be from sports, their jobs, health related issues, or other reasons.

Examples may include:
  • Individuals recovering from injuries.
  • Athletes training for a new sport or cross-training for health & fitness.
  • People that are experiencing muscle loss and increased soreness from aging when trying to be as active as they once were.
  • People with strenuous &/or physically demanding jobs such as police/fire/EMT’s, military, nurses, teachers, factory workers, construction workers, landscapers, and many more.

Let’s Examine the Ingredients:

HICA:
HICA is a breakthrough natural anabolic & anti-catabolic performance enhancer that can safely and naturally help you achieve significant gains in lean muscle and strength while improving recovery and reducing symptoms of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) so that you can train harder, longer, and more often.

HICA (also known as leucic acid &/or alpha-hydroxy-isocaproic acid) is a natural metabolite of the branched chain amino acid Leucine and has been shown in studies to increase protein synthesis (anabolism) and decrease muscle protein breakdown (catabolism). This is very unique in that it makes HICA both anabolic and anti-catabolic.

HICA works through multiple pathways but supporting mTOR activation is a major mechanism of action for how HICA is thought to delivery its incredible variety of benefits.

HICA accelerates your recovery between sets and between workouts and reduces DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) so that you can train more intensely and more often if desired; or simply not be as sore from your workouts or other activities.

Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA):
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is an endocannabinoid-like lipid mediator that plays an important biological role within cells in response to pain. It has extensively documented anti-inflammatory properties and is commonly used for supporting the relief of pain and inflammation.

VitaSport® Cherry:
VitaSport® Cherry delivers a full complement of phytonutrients from whole US grown tart cherries. These natural compounds have been shown to work synergistically to boost antioxidant power and promote healthy inflammatory responses in connection with exercise and to help protect against post-exercise muscle strength loss and soreness, as well as aiding in muscle recovery.

S7®:
S7® is blend of 7 plant-based ingredients that has been clinically shown to increase nitric oxide (NO) levels by 230%.

S7® is very unique in that it works differently than other nitric oxide boosters on the market because it works by triggering an increase in the body’s own nitric oxide production.

The human body already produces nitric oxide as a vasodilator, signaling the blood vessels to relax and thus increasing blood-flow and delivering more oxygen, fuel, and other key nutrients to the muscles., especially during workouts.

S7® is most commonly associated with products to increase pumps due to its nitric oxide increasing potential but its primary reason for inclusion in Recovery Fix is its blood-flow and associated benefits mentioned above and the potential for positive recovery benefits associated with them.

Recovery Fix contains 50 mg. of S7® per serving – the amount used in the clinical studies showing the 230% nitric oxide increase.

Senactiv®:
Senactiv® is a patented, plant-based nutraceutical that has been scientifically validated in human and in-vivo studies to promote more muscle energy and preservation via senescent cell clearance. This means that it promotes the removal of old cells and replenishment with new healthy muscle cells.

Senactiv® also increases the production of citrate synthase, an important enzyme that is responsible for producing more ATP (energy our body uses).

Ferulic Acid:
Ferulic Acid is a potent antioxidant that helps fight free radical damage and supports improved exercise capacity and recovery.

AstraGin®:
AstraGin® is a natural patented ingredient complex comprised of highly fractionated Astragalus membranaceus and Panax notoginseng and created using pharmaceutical grade extraction and processing technology and designed to help enhance nutrient absorption.

In short, AstraGin® is designed to help make sure you properly absorb the other great nutrients in Recovery Fix for maximum results.

Bioperine®:
Bioperine® is a standardized extract from the fruit of Piper nigrum L (Black Pepper) containing 95% piperine. Piperine has been shown to enhance the oral bioavailability of many supplements.

Bioperine® is included in Recovery Fix to be the perfect one-two punch with AstraGin® to help ensure that you properly absorb and get the maximum benefits out of all of the awesome ingredients in the comprehensive Recovery Fix formulation.

Stacking & Synergy:
Recovery Fix can be stacked with Muscle Addiction EpiAndro300, EpiAndro Lean, Pump Addict Ultra Hardcore, ECA Stack, Beta Ecdysterone-500, Turkesterone-750, Muscle Plex, or other Muscle Addiction products to help you reach your body-composition and fitness goals.
Wouldn't reducing inflammation post-workout be the opposite of what we want? Same reason why you would not wanna do cold water immersion post-workout after workouts cos while it reduces inflammation it means you get less of a stimulus from your workout cos the inflammation from a workout is needed to boost muscle growth?

It’s not that simple and this feels like one of those things people have seemed to twist themselves into knots over when the evidence definitely isn’t as definitive as some act like it is (I know you are just asking I’m not directing this at you so don’t take it that way).

Super short:
Maybe super high vitamin C/E preworkout is not ideal (but get murky as we age/have more stress).

Polyphenols and things of that nature probably shouldn’t be lumped in the same with that, the mechanisms of action aren’t exactly the same and there’s much less evidence showing negative effects on hypertrophy and strength.

Cold water works differently and I wouldn’t recommend for most people if hypertrophy and strength are your goals.

Longer answer (which I hope Steve doesn’t mind me linking) linked because I’m too lazy to type more out: https://www.strongerbyscience.com/antioxidants/

@Resolve10 made an excellent post on this above.

It's also important to point out that there is a lot more to Recovery Fix than just being for inflammation. The science behind the product is very sound and very in depth.

Recovery is one of the most important aspects of bodybuilding, and of especially for sports and athletics. If you think about it, almost any time you ever see an athlete testing positive for ped's, its not for something physique related, its for things that help them recover faster so they can train harder, longer, and more intensely.

If you're concerned about the post workout dose or the pre and post workout dose, you can use it at a different time of the day if you wish.

This is a great point. Lots of cherry studies are done near bed if I remember correctly.

I do like a night dose, I’ve done that before with this.

I’ve been take 4 pwo and an additional 2 at bed time. Been going heavier and switching up workouts and haven’t been sore and always feel recovered my next workout
