Hydro BCAA Texas Tea

I personally enjoy Hydro BCAA and have bought miami vice and sex on the beach flavors. Enjoyed both of them. A bit lighter than some other EAA products (e.g. ghost aminos v2, all 9) but still very well flavored. This tasted just like iced tea. I thought it actually had a stronger flavoring than the other two flavors i mentioned previously. I can’t say that i enjoy iced tea.. i can’t remember the last time I purposely made or ordered an iced tea from a restaurant or store. If you love iced tea i recommend getting this flavor because it tasted just like it.

I went all the way up until I barely got 4 partials. Did dorsiflexes and then went up reverse but I ended up doing more of a drop set technique because my calfs were full of blood.

Feels good to be back in after 3 days rest. I caught a small cold and decided to rest it out until I felt better which was today. Shoulders are starting to feel a little fatigued post 1 hour from workout. I personally have not felt anything out of Vaso6. Glad I didn't buy it. I'll probably throw away the remaining handful of pills.

I still have 2 tubs from the past deals. I also barely finished the sinister pancake mix I purchased last welcome week.
Yea these caps are SNS 300mg. I haven't tried doubling.. but at 300mg recommended dosage I would expect to see the benefits otherwise not worth it for me.
I am starting the leg training manual today.

I had a very enjoyable workout and it was because of the Alpha Pump.


Quick review:

-Taste was good, but not great. It has a lot of carbonation. I mixed 1 serving (scoop measures out correctly) into 8oz of water and shook it about 5 light shakes in a tall blender bottle and you get a pop when opening it. The tub had a warning label to not shake vigorously. When I sipped this i got a nice grape soda like taste in the beginning followed by a taste that reminded me of like those four sigmatic packets and then a dry tongue feeling. I would say a 40 grape/60 mushroom balance. This was with room temperature water. I put ice and this definitely helped the mask the mushroom taste so I do recommend ice cold water if you would like to mask that mushroom like flavor. The product leaves a lot of foam but quickly settles and I didn’t notice any major residue (almost none)

-Although the taste was alright, I was very impressed with the effectiveness of this. My veins from my shoulders started showing about 15 minutes after taking it and heading out of the house to the gym. Right from the start during warmups with some assisted pullups I felt an outstanding mind-muscle connection. This remained true during my whole workout. I could feel the muscles working nicely and could picture blood driving into the muscles. I felt like I was walking around with invisible lat syndrome (maybe I was).. When I got in for some glute ham raises my legs were so pumped as I touched my sides and hams to make sure they were engaging as I lowered. I even felt my lower abs engage fast when I did hanging leg raises. I can’t wait to try this out for my next shoulder and arm session.

-To compare, when I take vasoblitz or ghost pump I can “feel” the product. I feel like my blood vessels/ respiratory system opens up, possibly from the nitrates. I also feel a mental aspect. With this product I didn’t get that, I felt more like hydration was just being driven straight to muscles. With both I can feel outstanding mind muscle connections, but the pump seems to last longer with alpha pump. I was wrecked after word so this made it easy to push myself at the gym. If you need some sort of mental push from a preworkout than this might not work so well for you, but I don’t need that so I already like this right from the start! I am excited to try this out for other workouts and see how I rank it with my two other favorites (vasoblitz/ ghost pump)

Interesting you taste carbonation. I did not pick up on that.
Why you may feel this hits you differet is the s7 and glycerol which pulls water into the muscles (which you wrote). So it hits a different pump aspect with their profile compared to a heavy citrulline or nitrate driven product (Vaso/Ghost)

Yea. I can see this becoming my next favorite. I really want to see how this works for a leg day (quad focused). Vasoblitz has been the only one to work really well for a leg day/ quads for me.

Nutrex put a decent bit of Potassium bicarbonate in that so that may be the carbonated feel you are getting.

Usual rest period for oh press was not enougg.. my reps kept going down from the massive pumps. Bent over laterals pretty much all turned into partials. Calfs were hard from the awesome mind muscle connection. Workout was tremendous. I think for folks with much less body fat than me would see a huge swelling in muscles.

this product is legit and i couldn’t be happier. Pumps the muscle up after 1 warmup/feeder set. Guys have your RDL form in check otherwise i can conclude that your lower back will be pumped up and not be able to stand straight. The RDLs felt outstanding for me. EAsy to lift and squeeze but hard because of the pump. The adduction was a full feel sets to find my working range. I kept adding weight and failed at 280 for 8 reps. The killer was v squats.. i have never felt my quads so pumped. Damn this product is probably my favorite pump product right now. I did notice today that i was very winded . More Than usual

Stand alone is amazing. So much so that i want to take this on the weekend when i usually do stim preworkouts. I assume your sales with the product are doing above normal?

It just depends on what people want out of a stim or non-stim which drives sales.
Most people dont have much experience with S7, so they may look for a citrulline or nitrate driven non-stim (or stim)

took alpha pump too early (took us forever to leave the house).. the product still performed very well. Half scoop of legend only gave me caffeine kick but the pumps still felt the same as I have been experiencing with alpha pump, is it worth adding a half scoop of pre? in my opinion, no. Just drink coffee for caffeine and drink alpha pump. I will try a full scoop tomorrow just to test it and I will also do a pump+pump stack. Unfortunately, I only have ghost pump at the moment so I will not be able to do a vasoblitz test. I broke my reps from last week on squats because I didn't add glute bridges, I will have to add weight next week.

got some great pumps during tricep excercise. Arms felt really pumped at end of session and i struggled to get reps at the end of the trisets for both tris and bis. Even lowered the weight for the behind head extension. Db presses had my wife help me with the last 2 forced reps of the last set.

Mind muscle connection was outstanding today. I focused on staying within the assigned RPEs and focus on my form the most. I didn’t feel drained .. not until about 30 minutes post workout i felt my energy start to tank.
my wife saw my form on the adduction machine and she made me sit up straight and this really isolated my adductors as you can see i had to lower the weight.. i should have lowered it even lower because i forced rep the last 3.

another early morning session but this time i woke up an hour earlier to hydrate with water and pink Himalayan salt and a jog with my pup. Hit up disneyland as well. Leg Recovery was awesome this weekend, roller to my legs, the extra walking and jogging improved it.

The occlusion training was brutal. First time trying it and that was pump city. I felt so pumped that i didn’t feel a pump anymore. Like no strength to flex my biceps. My reps fell completely on both tri and bis for that lst round. I think i got like 6 reps until failure and then i rest paused the remainder

Reigns are very good, i get the same effects from them as a bang. Just an energy drink. The celsius though really made my temperature go up. First time having those

Very rich dark chocolate flavor without any excessive sweetness to keep the flavor true. The caffeine was not overly stimulating, but does have 85mg so keep an eye out if you are sensitive to caffeine. Really enjoyed it.

Reigns are very good, i get the same effects from them as a bang. Just an energy drink. The celsius though really made my temperature go up. First time having those
celsius heat's have fatloss ingredietns added hats why your temp went up. The regular cans (White) have 200, and the new BCAA+Energy have 100mg. The Fuji Apple and peach mango green tea in the regular white can is absolutely delicious and the price on them when on sale is a steal (around $1/Can)

I won't ever drink a regin or buy one. Basically lets copy bang and rebrand it and have an identical formula. Plenty of other drinks out there (C4/Raze/Merica Energy) i would rather invest in

Repeated last weeks arm workout without occlusion training. Training cycle got interrupted with my vegas trip, but taking the time off as recovery days. Taking it easy on legs this week will probably just do a recovery leg workout next and then start pickup training cycle on Thursday.

I’m becoming a GAT fan. Their multis are great and picked up stupid deals from @The Solution the new EAAs are delicious and just the profile i need can’t wait until Bob has these in stock. The pump was unflavored so i mixed with bcaa sample. Very impressed by this product. I had some amazing pumps going and wouldn’t mine unflavored because I can easily add it to any juice or hydra charge that i may have. Bcaa is a nice candy flavor, but it seemed to have gotten overpowered by the “unflavored” pump. Seemed to have neutralize the candy flavor

Intra was a humapro amino sample. Flavor was very good, but i had to use a little less water than usual for my intra (~18oz) to not water it down so much.

Missed out, but still picked up my essentials at some insane prices with my rewards :)
I also want to note Nutrex is a brand most people overlook.
Clinically dosed, great formulas, and the flavoring is top tier (best vegan protein on the market IMO). Truly products people sleep on.

*lunges/squat: 35x10 each leg/ orange short band x10


Comments

Repeated last week workout for leg pump but at home with bands. Very light and more of a recovery session nothing past rpe of 7. I had a 35 weight so held on to that for lunges. Ended up getting good guad pump for the last exercise. Did some hamstring rolling and stretching afterward

Tried some more samples today:
1. Animal bars are f***n delicious. I can’t wait for @The Solution to have the hookup. Pb is my favorite. Perfect split of chocolate and PB, usually brands don’t get that PB flavor. This is like dipping chocolate in Pb and then slight hints of crunch consistency of a crunch bar but way less. You get texture bites here and there. No wonder they won stack3d best new product.
2. Steelfit protein tasted just like nesquick strawberry
3. Hydroxyelite, i’ve had before but it’s been a while and ever since re-adjusting my stimulant intake this past year i could tell a difference. 1 pill was enough to wake up and keep me going for the day. As for ingredients, i’d rather stick to yhcl + caffeine. Works great

Another pre to add to my collection :). All my stim pre’s have been collecting dust seriously. I’ve had ghost legends for 2+ years, mp wreckage i won nov 2017, controlled labs white flash got it may 2018. I threw away a re1gn a couple of months ago. Quake is my sh*t, thanks again Chef Bob.

*leg press deadstop: 6 plates total x8, 8, 7 platesx8
*bulgarian split squat of death: 55x8> 40x8>25x8>bodyweightx3 (10 sec hold after each set)
*modified sissy squat: 10,8,10

Finally catch a break on the leg curls. I think this is the lowest rpe i’ve seen for this routine. I needed that. I went too heavy on the bulgarians. I had to pause rep after the first set and pause rep the hold. i was completely obliterated by the time the final drop came in.
Sissy squats i did by holding to a rail, this sucked cuz i found myself cheating my way up on the first 2 sets, but the final set i was finally able to get the groove right.
I am seeing/ feeling some progress on my legs. This week i modified my dinner / post workout and have been consistent with it and i feel way better. Sweet potatoes digest very good for me, compared to lentils which sit heavy.
