RPG-BCAA-Warrior-Melon.png

Thank you habajaba -and the MST team for giving me the chance to try -and review this product!

What caught my eye were the ingredients of RPG, lots of goodies here, like:

-Electrolytes to replenish minerals
-Acerola and Cherry powder as antioxidants
-some NAC that has a long list of benefits
-long list of EAA's , guessing that it works synergistic with the BCAA's

Sounds like a well rounded product, an "All in one" for work out recovery needs. Will use it intra-workout and on off-days.

Here my review criteria, will add results to this first post when finished:

Final review

1.first look, packaging, consistency of product
*Nice tub with readable ingredient list (others may have micro-writing)
*Reasonable filled, almost full tub (not like some competition with half empty tubs)
*Product did not clump over time, stayed always powdery

2.Taste
*here we could argue about, taste is very personal. Did not like it much at first -but after finding the right amount of water to mix with it (20oz x scoop) taste grew on me. Good taste, slightly addictive.

3.Mixability
*Awesome! It mixes very well in cold water -even in juice, no sediments at the bottom after mixing

4.perceived recovery from workouts, other observations
*It's BCAA with some EAA's and other goodies. BCAA's and EAA's are useful building blocks for your muscles, period.
Lets face it: It is no magic bullet, giving you suddenly huge gains -or makes your penis grow larger.
I used BCAA's for a long time intra workout and are used to it.
Did it do more than plain BCAA's? IMHO, YES, a little bit. It helps probably more on a cellular level than plain bulk BCAA's.

5.overall product value
*Great value, especially with a small discount habajaba could provide ;)
Ingredients are well thought out. The mixeability of RPG can NOT be achieved using bulk BCAA's.

Veredict: 5/5

Got some samples of: Cordygen Nano2, Elite Cordygen Nano2 and ZMK.

Will save most of it for later, it may interfere with the RPG review.
The ZMK I gulped down immediately, since my libido enhancing peptides have me drained -and zinc replenishes my shrunken "reservoirs" (nuts). LOL!

Used 2 scoops in 20 ounces of water (1 shaker bottle) intra workout.

First impression:
-fine powder, almost like dust
-container is reasonable full, unlike some of the competition who sell big containers that are"half full" with an enormous moisture absorption pack in it, to boot.
-it mixes effortless, no floating parts observed after shaking

Taste:
Taste is "good" considering what unflavored BCAA's tastes like. It's mellow and not a strong taste. Not too chemical -but not like original melon would taste. No after taste, that's good!

Workout:

Standing DB press TUT 3.1.1/ 2x 45lbs
11/11 <--- felt discomfort in shoulder, dropped weight
2x40lbs TUT 4.1.1 (ultra slow lowering)
12/9/7

Circuit of doom:
Chin ups BW +45lbs/Push ups elevated TUT 4.1.1./Pull ups BW

Inverted rows, holding 2 sec on top

Cable lat push down bar 90lbs

Felt recovered today and was at full swing at the gym.

Cable flies: 6 sets
Cable crossover: 6 sets

Saw BEAST73 's videos doing one armed incline DB presses and tried some, first time doing bench presses after about 5 month, since shoulder injury.
One armed alternating DB press TUT 3.1.1.(I'm super happy that I could do them, will keep the weights low and volume high to not stress the shoulder)

Inclined:
2x30lbs x25
2x40lbs x25
2x45lbs x20/20/18

Flat:
2x45lbs x20/18/18/15

Cable overhead triceps extension one arm
7 sets

DB shrugs
2x55lbs 5 sets

Inclined DB reverse flies 2x35lbs
15/13/13/11
notch up:
12/12/10/10

seated leg press
4 sets

DB lateral rises
4 sets

I mixed 2 scoops of the RPG BCAA's with only 12 ounces of water, bad idea, too concentrated and I could taste the salt of the electrolytes.
2 scoops in 20 ounces seems to be best.
I did more sets with less fatigue today.

What I'm afraid off is upping the "Landmine" into position. I really think that's a risky move.
Would love to see a vid how you do them!

I lift it into position with my good arm. The challenge for me is setting it down when done and worn out with out slamming to the ground.

My store opened longer to take advantage of the holiday sales.
I had only 50min gym-time left, so I shortened all pauses to 30 seconds.

Rope triceps press down, focus on wrist-twist at end, holding down 3 sec
alternating sets 60lbs/45lbs, no pauses
13/12 30sec 12/12 30sec 14/8 30sec 10/7 30sec 8/8

cable one armed triceps over head ext.TUT 3.1.1/30 sec. pause
35lbs 14/12/12/9/10/8/8/7

BB shrugs, 30 sec pause

Two scoops of RPG BCAA's in 20 ounces of cold water -and off we go:

After-Holidays-Gym

Pull ups BW
+25lbs 11/9/8
BW: 9/9/7

Push ups elevated TUT 4.1.1.
15/12/10/10

standing Land Mines press Studhorse style shoulder/chest
45lbs TUT 3.1.1: 17/16/16/15
45lbs one arm: 9/9/8

DB shrugs 2x 80lbs: 6 sets

seated row 230lbs x 12/13
Lat pull down 230lbs x11/9
Leg extensions: 3 sets

One armed alternating DB press flat TUT 3.1.1
2x55 lbs 16/16/13/12/12

Cable cross overs: 5 sets

Studhorse , Landmines will now be part of my routine. The one armed were with a bit of impingement in the bad shoulder -but awesome exercise, felt safer than incline presses. Thank you for the tip, brobeastlykowski !

The taste of the RPG is growing on me. If the water is really cold, it's refreshing and subtle.

I'm impressed with the pull ups + 25lb. That is killing it.
On the 2 hand land mines I shot a vid and will try to put it up tomorrow when I get to the office. This crap tablet doesn't work right.
As far as RGP. I think they set me up logging this. Best intra I have ever taken and hooked. I left it at home tonight, had to go back home to get it.
I'm liking 1.5 scoops with 12oz water and sip on it. Don't like a lot on my stomach when I workout.

Chin ups I did 4 x BW+90lbs, hehe! Pull ups are a different animal and I don't dare to go too heavy on them, can feel something in the shoulder, call it precognition.
Can't really feel the RPG, but it may be due to all the stuff I'm on. As the nutrient profile is convincing and the taste is good, I'm inclined to buy some of it and "abuse it chronically", LOL.
Studhorse , here a vid doing landmines, note the low weight, I'm testing the water ! :)
