Being an M's fan the past decade has almost felt like being a Sox fan trying to break the curse of the Bambino in the early 2000s. After leading the division for the first half of the season, then going on a horrible loss streak, they FINALLY fired Scott Servais (about a half decade too late). Now with Dan Wilson at the helm, we are 3 for 4. The stro's lost last night, M's won again bringing us within 3.5 with 30 games to go.

we don't get a lot of exciting fall baseball in Seattle anymore so Sept is shaping up to be pretty awesome!

on the flip side, the White Sox had a chance to be the worst team in MLB history this year but I believe they dodged it, lol.

They have like a $180mil payroll?

Grew up in MA. Was a Sox fan from 85 on. Watching the Mets win and Bill Effin’ Buckner etc was heart breaking. Reverse the Curse and Kevin Millar’s “Cowboy Up” w shits of Jack in the Clubhouse was a memory I’ll hold onto forever. They lost me w the “chicken and beer” year and I have not watched them since. You get paid to play a sport at a level most of us cannot. Conduct yourself accordingly. And that’s all I have to say about that!!!

I'll never admit to being a Sox fan but admittedly in the early 2000s I definitely watched my share of games, even from over here. and I knew the whole line up for sure back during the Johnny Damon, Trot, Papi, etc era. that was a team to be reckoned with...

The years I was PROUD to be a Sox fan. You had the Ken Griffey Junior years.
Josh Beckett and his antics turned me off and the money we wasted on Matsuzaka Was a hard pelt to swallow, but the nail in the coffin was the return on investment for Chris Sale. Almost as bad as the money the Celtics sunk into Gordon Hayward.

that we did, and after the Ken Griffey years we had the King Felix years which sucked because our pitching was the best in baseball and our hitting the worst so NOBODY was getting a hit at a Mariners game, boring! 😅😅
