Improving the speed of healing?

Hey folks.

I've noticed that I've always been a slow healer. Whenever I get a cut or any form of damage. I seem to take so much longer than average to heal up. My partner heals so quick and it sort of annoys me lol

I was in the dentist 2 weeks ago and got 2 teeth removed (For new replacements). The dentist said let's have a look at your extractions. She just went hmmm. Seems like it's taking a little longer to heal.

I eat a good diet. Got a good exercise program.

What is my body missing? Is their any supplements that would speed up how quick I can heal? I do have oral bpc 157 at home. I don't know fully what to add in.

Is collagen protein worth adding in?
Would fat intake impact my healing? I don't eat alot of fats tbh. I do add them in but I would say it's at the low end of normal.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Oral bpc only works on your gut, its not gonna help injuries.

When it comes to healing a wound, blood flow, blood supply for oxygen and nutrients delivered properly to the wound is the most important factor for healing speed given the right nutrients are present. Things like Vitamins A,C,D and E, zinc and magnesium. Proteins and fats, Arginine, lucine and GLUTAMINE are important as well. Adding collagen and the supporting vitamins and minerals also will make injectable bpc and tb500 work correctly and speed up healing processes.

I don't think there's gonna be many single healing supplements or stuff like that.'s gonna make a huge difference.

Ursolic acid, speeds up healing and reduces inflammation according to litiure but I don't believe it is going to make a difference as I've used it a few times now. Although I do feel like it makes my hair and nails grow faster

Fun fact, ursolic acid stimulates bloodflow to the scalp helping hair grow, I'm not sure if that can be taken orally or if it has to be injected or applied in a transthermal directly to the scalp though

Look into mega dosing spirulina. It boosts the enzyme SOD (Superoxide dismutase) which can improve wound healing. Ask google about boosting SOD for wound healing and see what AI says.

The research that I read on Ursolic Acid for scalp and hair benefits was with regular use, not specific application to the scalp. It's got me curious, so I'll go back and see if I can find anything related to scalp specific use; but what I read was about the systemic method of action promoting it.

From what I read about the wound healing, it does seem to help, but it helps long term in that it isn't something that someone is going to take for a month or two and notice a big difference in, but they may with continued use. I think of it as kind of a nice extra benefit for people using it anyway.

Ursolic Acid has a lot of great overall health benefits. It's talked about on here as mostly recomp related benefits, but there are a ton of general health benefits.

We recently launched Ursa-Bolic, the advanced absorption Ursolic Acid Phytosome product, and bc of the anti-aging and longevity and general health properties, we are going to be doing the exact same product but under a different name and label style for the people that want to use it for the different health properties.

The health benefits were a big reason we did the Ursolic Acid Phytosome, because regular ursolic acid has some oral bioavailability issues, but the biggest issue is the rapid elimination of it by the body. Ursa-Gel solves that through td use, but as great as it is, there are so many people that won't use td's or use them consistently, that we knew an advanced absorption form was needed for the general health and anti-aging consumers.

It's pretty cool stuff, I feel like every time I search ursolic acid I learn something new that it helps with one way or another. The times I used it I noticed changes in body composition, I was cutting and I work out a lot but I routinely go through cuts and bulks a few times a year and the times I used it I had better then my usual results. I have cronic pain in my feet and a few other places and I also thought I had less pain in my hands, feet and shoulders. I definitely felt like I was getting better pumps on a cut as well. Many of the things I read about after the fact so I can't really say I noticed anything else, maybe a sense of well being and less anxiety but I can't accurately assess those because all times I used it, I was in a good place, training hard, making progress, went on a vacation during one run. I was already in very positive environment during those times so I can't really say ursolic Acid was responsible

Thanks I will have a look into this.

What's a good dose to use for this sort of issue (Healing)?

I did have a read into it and it looks a very good ingredient.

Would the SNS Super cissus have any sort of healing benefits?

If blood flow is very important. Do you think I should maybe try nitric oxide supplements? I suffer from reynauds and I've been looking into blood flow tbh.

I've recently been adding 5g of ceylon to meals each day. Their is some research into cinnamon and improving blood flow. Ginger also has some positive research also. I've increased my omega 3 content also. I don't react well to omega 3 supplements. I need to just eat fatty fish.

I do have Agmatine and citrulline at home?

I'm not sure why I do heal poorly. I think it may be a gene defect? It's always been an issue. My diet is decent.

Just wondered if their was anything on the market that would improve it.

GHK-Cu speeds up wound healing by attracting immune and endothelial cells to the injury site, increasing blood vessel formation, and stimulating collagen synthesis.

Cissus Quadrangularis - CQ extract incorporation promotes wound healing due to its bioactive ingredients such as quercetin, ascorbic acid, vitamin C, and phenols. I actually took this after getting my wisdom tooth that was extracted years ago and the dentist was surprised at how fast it healed up.

Is GHK an oral or injectable? I've used it in topical format before.

I've actually recently added in Cissus. It's a unique ingredient tbh. Seems to also aid in some fat loss also.

I'm currently using.

Magnesium Citrate (Noticed my diet was lacking)

Cissus
Ceylon cinnamon
Zinc
Vitamin C (High dose)
Tudca

Will see how these do. I can react poorly to supplements so I'm just adding them in slowly.

You ever take GHK, it's fairly painful, I did not enjoy the pip on that one

Pepti-Plex is 4 capsules per day. I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night.

The combination of PeptiStrong, Senactiv, Apigenin, and VasoFlo helps with healing via a variety of angles, and I think that the methods of action of PeptiStrong + the enhanced blood flow and nutrient delivery of VasoFlo is an important combination for the healing benefits.

We will be using PeptiStrong in some other formulas, but for healing, I would definitely go with Pepti-Plex.

Yes, Cissus XT is a really good product, especially for tendons and ligaments.

Both. Topical is great too for skin, hair. Looks like a nice little stack and great thinking it's always good to start slow see how your body reacts.

Yes, the first time I didn't use enough bac water and that was very eye opening, it was like baby rattler locked its fangs into me and wouldn't let go, not very friendly. I ended up putting more bac water in hopes that would dilute it more and it was a little less aggressive. The stuff we do for science.

I can certainly attest to the latter, and in particular Cissus XT.

It makes a remarkable difference in my case. What's more interesting is the dose: I get relief at 2 caps/day. At 3 caps/day the pain is only felt (a little) at extreme ranges of motion. At 4 caps/day... pain is 100% gone (I'm 235lbs BTW, 55 years old and been training for 40 years). I still train heavy, for me anyway (400+lbs loaded carries w/trap bar, 150 + lb dips etc.)

Moral of the story: Start at 4 caps/day (2AM and 2PM) to see just how much relief it gives you. Provided its substantial, drop to 3 caps/day for a few weeks and perhaps even 2 caps/day, to find your lowest effective dose.
