Iconic Formulations Dermacrine & Ultra Epi log

I started the Dermacrine & Ultra Epi at 3 pumps each this morning. My workouts have been changed a bit to do my version of POF training from back in the day.

I was still playing around with the idea of getting an old man's bench record but after that child molesting thing a piece of paper from a certain organization means nothing. This will be a lean gainer with emphasis of bodybuilding. Leg day tomorrow after WVU game.

I liked ultra epi, after a couple runs of ultra hard, xpg epi, and then the ultra epi I found myself hankering for more so I took my full dose of the ultra and stacked it with epiandrolean capsules lol.

I will say that one dried me out a little more than other TDs so at first glimpse of a dry shoulder just throw some lotion on there and it will be fine.

I just started Dermacrine appx 3 weeks ago I am on TRT and in a caloric deficit and I’ll be honest , I couldn’t be happier. I feel in just a better more relaxed mood. Deeper sleeps and it is certainly helping with body recomp. This is something I will make a fairly steady staple in my every day life

Yeah. If Shoulder bothers me too much I'll lower the epi to 2 pumps. I have some Swanson pomegranate on hand so I'll probably add that in with my am fatty meal. The Ursa-Gel helps joints more but this should help some.

I'm doing trt also. This morning it was pretty cool because I took my e5d shot right along with the tds. I had a great experience cutting with Dermacrine stacked with Ursa-Gel. Going to try to lean gain this time because my weight is down. Working this job I started burns a lot of calories. I've got a feeling this will be a staple for me also.

I feel like I get full absorbtion from my TD's that I use on my feet as well, FWIW. I think I was running 4-5 pumps of ultra epi so I used every bit of real estate I had. if I applied it in the morning post shower, I could put lotion on the shoulder at night before bed and it was in good shape by morning usually.

Well, I'm at 6 pumps with the stack so I cover a lot of area. I usually spray a little 90% alcohol on the area after it sinks in a bit to make it absorb more.
Doing this with Iconic stuff seems to work very well. Probably will take advantage of their upcoming laber day sale and get me some td curcumin for my shoulder.

In on this for sure!

The first time I used ultra epi it felt like a sunburn for a week but I powered through and now I'm fine. I'm using Icon1,A4, and Uepi all with no problem just use lotion like you said.

It kinda wild that I was more about epi messing with joints and not skin. A lot of ppl call it dry joints. I don't really have a skin problem with the ultra epi but I always use soaps with lotions in them to stop the dryness. Winstrol used to destroy my joints but the epi doesn't really bother them much.

The Snap fitness building got struck by lightning today. It was open but they closed it during my workout. I had to go to Nautilus to finish. It was cool though I like those Standing calf raises.

I feel really good already. Dermacrine kinda just does that. I've got a feeling my reload and volume increase is going to go pretty good.

I'm going to flip chest day to Monday haha.
Ppl who know me already knew that was going to happen. :p

So my routine will be:
Monday: chest, bis & tris
Wednesday: delts & back

I started this at 170. The new job burns a lot of calories so it's pretty low for me. Going to take kcals & carbs up a bit but the focus is lean gainer anyway.

Sounds like a beast of a session! The mood boost of dermacrine is awesome. That would be crazy gym struck by lightning!

I did this one today. The Matrix chest press is tough. The grip is wide and it feels a lot heavier that the weight on the stack plate. The whole stack is 240 if that gives you any idea. Kinda like that leg press. I will probably do the pyramid thing on it next week.

Snap Fitness chest, bis & tris
Matrix chest press: seat on 1
115 X 5
115 X 5
115 X 5
115 X 5
115 X 5 might have done 6 sets haha
Supersetted the last three with

Had to push Wednesdays workout to today because of a Dr's appointment yesterday.
Will probably push my next workout to Sunday.

I had to do the shoulder press with a Prone grip to make it not bother my twerky shoulder.
Halfway wanted to do the Matrix plate loaded bench press anyway. Maybe next time. I've got some of that iconicformulations td curcumin on the way. Hoping that helps.

I thought I was going to have to do this one on Thursday because we had a lot of stuff to do today but I got it in.

That Matrix leg press is really cool because the seat slides along with the weight stack. It's almost like leg press and squats mixed together. The whole stack is 400 lbs. Tried to go a little fast on the reloading but I'll do 315 next week. Just take it up slowly.

Snap fitness leg day:
Matrix leg press:
235 X 10
320*X 5 G5
310 X 5 dialed back :p

I did this workout yesterday after work. I'm very tempted to bump chest day to Saturday so I can use the Cybex chest press at Nautilus. The wide grip on the Matrix one makes it hard to go very heavy.
If I do this it just makes me flip leg day to Monday which would probably work. We'll see.

Matrix chest press:

I was trying to do a lean gainer with this because I didn't like where my weight was at(170). Don't seem to be going up but I'm definitely leaner. I guess getting older is just like that. :(

The td curcumin is going to help with this shoulder but it's going to take awhile. I did super lights on the shoulder press to help it. Might do something similar next delt workout but get some real work sets in. I can tell the curcumin helps the inflammation.

I did this one after work yesterday evening:
Snap fitness delts and back:
Shoulder press neutral grip: seat on 5
20 X 10
20 X 10
30 X 10
40 X 10
50 X 10

70 X 6 Trying to get that clicking out.
Back to heavier next time.

whats your current caloric intake? what was it before you started this?
When I reverse dieted back in sept 2022 I added 100 calories per week to start every week. I didn't gain any weight till nearly december and by then I only finished the years +4lbs

I have zero regrets about that. I feel like the lean mass and strength I accumulated over 2 years has been done somewhat correctly. I could have done shorter bulk/cuts in the middle but I did throw in 2 x 10lb+ cuts over that time.

183 to 200
down to 190
up to 207
down to 186
up to 202
and today down to a very happy 186.

that's my 2 years in a nutshell. take your time, increase your calories and do it smart.

My current intake is similar to what I did to maintain a weight that I could make the 181 lb class with. I've been crushing carbs pwo but kinda run keto thru the work day. (I feel better doing work that way) Trying to do more of a bodybuilding thing now. I guess I'll try taking then up even more and eating more carbs thru the day.

I flipped bench, bi & tris to Saturday. It kinda wild I usually prefer Mondays but wanted to do it at Nautilus. I love the Cybex chest press there. Upping my calories to try and get my BW up. I wasn't thinking about how many calories my job burns and am trying to factor that in.

That 5 X 5 on the chest press will probably happen but for now it's basically a pof program. I like Snap but miss this gym.

Nautilus chest, tris and biceps:
Cybex plate loaded chest press:
135 X 10
155 X 8
175 X 6
Supersets with

50 X 10
Tricep press:
90 X 10
100 X 8
110 X 6
Cybex tricep extensions
62.5 X 10
Rope pushdowns:
60 X 10
60 X 10
Cable Ezbar curls;

80 X 10
Rope hammer curls:
90 X 10
90 X 10
Cybex concentration curls:
62.5 X 10
62.5 X 10
Workout was about an hour. I had to stay light on the Flys because of the shoulder. I can tell the td curcumin is helping tho.

Some serious sessions! That TD curcumin is really good stuff, hoping you can get some relief from it.

Agreed! Curcurime by xpg i've had a lot of success with on nagging pain from inflammation.

I might have to look into this. Thoughts on concerns of staining and such.

It's almost clear. I haven't noticed any staining. It absorbs quite well as you rub it in. I'm talking about the Iconicformulations version.

Didn't skip leg day just flipped it to Monday after work. Got this one in last night. Just doing the pof workout now. If I get back to squats in the rack the 5 X 5 thing will probably happen. Still was a pretty good workout.

295 X 6. Accidently did 315 that was heavy :p

I wear white undershirts mon-fri and have been running various TD's for about 2+ years now. I have seen zero staining from any of the iconic or XPG products.

Same for me as well. No issues regarding staining.

Subbed!

How are things feeling outside the gym? libido, energy, etc?

We had a lot of guys loving the combo of Ultra Epi and Dermacrine - that's why I made the stack on the site...the dermacrine should really help with some of the potential joint ache from the epiandro. But, the combo should work great for mood, libido, energy, leaning, etc

Yeah, it's kinda wild how something with an AI in it can be easy on the joints. When you consider that epi also has a anti estrogen effect because it binds to ERs you would think this stack would be hard on joints but the opposite is true. I have some joint injuries that are going to bother me but the Dermacrine even helps them. The td curcumin is helping more. The best use for this is probably for cutting.

I'm an older dude but the libido is fine on this. My wife might gripe at ya :p

I don't like doing feel good comments but I absolutely feel great on this stack. Energy. Attitude and all.

is that in regards to the curcumin or the dermacrine? I found Dermacrine to be a big contributor to my bulk when I briefly used it, but the recent cut and volume has been hard on joints so the high praise that curcumin has received has been interesting to me.

I just remind my wife that she's the one who picked a younger guy 😅 🤘 time to pay the piper.

That was my brief experience with dermacrine as well. king of the world feeling

I was referring to the Dermacrine & epi stack for cutting. The Dermacrine works a lot like a test base in cycles so it should work in gainers also. My problem is the extreme amount of calories the work I have been doing burns. I'm also getting older and sadly it gets harder to pack on the mass. The curcumin just helps with the joint issues. My original goal with this was a lean gainer. My weight has been staying close to original but there is definitely a recomp thing going on. I need to get even more calories in.

ah yes, I have liked the epi both on cuts and bulks but only used the dermacrine on the bulk/strength cycle. it definitely helped with boosting my appetite, mood, energy, libido, etc.

Yeah, the energy, mood and locked in feeling while training on this stack is amazing. I want to play around with the 5 X 5 and try to get bigger lifts but this shoulder thing scares me.
It's a tendon thing from past injuries(separated shoulder and then a pec tear). I'll probably eventually need surgery. I hate the idea of having to wear a sling again.

The weights are kinda low because of my shoulder. It looks like a deload on a cut. That's not exactly what I was going to do but I look pretty cut and the muscles are hard. Can't complain really. This evening's workout:
Nautilus chest, tris and biceps:
Cybex plate loaded chest press:
135 X 10
165 X 8
175*X 6
Supersets with
Shoulder hang 70 seconds
Shoulder hang 70 seconds

80 X 10
Rope hammer curls:
90 X 10
90 X 10
Cybex concentration curls:
62.5 X 10
62.5 X 10
A little less than an hour. Idk exactly but Nautilus closing at 5 helped. Idk why they do that on Saturday.

I got my new leg day in yesterday after work. Seems to be working for the shaping thing. Had one of those insomnia bouts last night but manages to get some sleep. Tbi is a nasty thing to deal with.

TBI?! that's no fun...glad you're ok!

have you considered taking an NAD+ supplement or phosphatidylserine (like in endoamp)? I believe there has been some data suggesting these could benefit TBI's

Tbi is a nasty thing to deal with.

did I miss you mentioning that before? what happened?
it's something that I watch closely, I do feel like depression and similar issues are closely linked and under addressed especially in men.

I was in a bad auto accident in 2008. One of the 9 broken bones I had was a fractured skull. The main problem I have from the TBI now is issues with insomnia.

I've played around with various supplements. Eventually landed on huperzine a and nicotine pouches. I'm not saying that I wouldn't try anything else.

Damn dude, that sounds horrible. glad you are still among the lifting today after a wreck like that

Dang that sounds bad! Insomnia is the worst to! I've been using Sleep Support XT regularly now and it's given me good results.

I'm a big fan of anything that improves sleep quality. the older I get the more valuable it is to me and the more I see how it effects all aspects of life. insomnia is a miserable experience I wish on nobody, it feels like your brain is like.. dying.

I'll have to check this out. I'm not crazy about upping antihistamine doses just to get to sleep.

The Neuro Curcumin from Iconic is definitely helping that right shoulder. I did the Matrix shoulder press after all the other shoulder moves and that helped also. Guess I can get back to where I was before I had the problem. Still going to do the shoulder press last. That warming up probably helped some.

I did the Facepulls instead of the rear delt rows just to keep from going down to the 1st floor.

Here's yesterday's delts/back session:
Snap fitness delts and back
Matrix Shoulder press;
55*X 10
65 X 8
75 X 6
85 X 5
95 X 5 It's getting better! :)

After studying it out a bit, this may be ideal for getting REM sleep.
