I used the IBE Retin, and my skin couldnt handle it. I used it daily for about a week and a half before the sides got to be to severe so I reduced to every other day, then every three days, and now I havent used it for about 10 days. I never noticed much acne reduction, I have actually notice more of a reduction since ceasing, but mine was pretty bad when I started, I hadnt even been on cycle for about 9 weeks, so this was my natural acne. my chest was/is the worst, my neck and back arent great either, my face isnt as bad but still not as good as Id like. I could tell the retin was doing something, I just couldnt stick it out long enough to see real benefits. My skin would get so itchy, red and dry that it became painful, it was kind of like if crossed sunburn with poison oak to make a new type of skin irritation! And my ball sack..Invalid Link Removed...oooohhhh my god! I didnt even apply any there (why would I, who gets acne on their nuts?) But somehow it got so sensitive that just the friction from walking made them all red and irritated to the point of pain, and it was bad enough that I couldnt just ignore it. I was walking with my knees flayed out to the sides to prevent friction. LOLOL! And even on other parts of my face that I never applied any to like right by my eye lid got so dried up that the skin cracked and it was like a cut. Anyway the itching and inflammation was just unbearable, and when your not seeing improvement on a par with the side effects your enduring, its easy to get discouraged. I think Im a somewhat unique case, and will probably seek the help of a dermatologist.
