morning cardio
30 minutes 15% 4.4mph

it is friggin hot, it is supposed to feel like 105 today here, luckily that will break by wednesday. also, go figure my central air crapped out on friday, so we are living in a sauna, but luckily my daughter's ceiling fan actually makes the room colder for some reason, and doesnt just circulate hot air
 
it has been a scorcher today. cut the workout short to pick up my daughter from camp. too much exposure to outside imo. good thing is she and my wife will sleep at my sisters tonight to stay cool, sadly for me i have to stay as it is too far from work to go to my sisters.

Here is my back workout from today
front pulldowns (4 sets) 210lbs
barn doors (4 sets) 60lbs
back extensions (4 sets) 170lbs
btn neutral pulldowns (4 sets) 150lbs
db rows (4 sets) 95lbs

I was sweating like a pig at that point. Just to give you an idea, all the schools in my county closed early from the heat
 
very disappointed this am, made it to the gym by 4:40 and no one showed up by 5am. I just sat, so I will make it up this afternoon. My school is having early dismissal for kids, so I will be able to get out earlier than the usual tuesday

I feel you on the no air thing, we have 1 window air that works in my kids room and the rest of the house is just hot!!! It makes you so tired and lethargic, I fight to get up and go to the gym...and the Jeep air switch just went out:frustrate

thanks, it was not pretty last night. I gave my daughter my desk fan, and she was thrilled to have that special, magic daddy fan (kids are hilarious).

I am amazed I havent fallen asleep at work yet.
 
Hit the cardio this am

wont be lifting this afternoon, hence the switch in chest days to yesterday. I am competing in a charity football game at work against some of the students. Should be fun in the heat :(

regarding the flag football game, I learned something at age 32
I am slow!!!. My stamina was great, and I still hit the hell out of the kids, but I think my 66 year old mother could run faster than I can. So sad
 
time to start training for next years game then!! lol. Try sprinting I guess... That always increased my speed after a few weeks of sprints and running.
 
we ar elooking at it for 2 times next year. some ofthe rules were changed to offset our "advantage". I guess older and slower are advantages.

I do have to say the part of being physical was a blast. I have to commend myself for laying some of the kids out, nicely of course :)
 
I should have thought about that, probably would have been a smart idea as I got one kid pretty good. to his credit he popped right up and was ready to go

As for your DCP dosing, you could try the following:

2 caps(am)
3 caps(pre-workout)
2 caps(pm)
1 cap(before bed)


Now you can adjust this pattern to meet your schedule. I find it to be the most effective overall myself. Good luck with this buddy and i'll be following along.

That's what i've been doing in my log, check it out.

The 3 cap pre-workout dose will definitley give you a nice endurance boost......especially with the cardio.

I am starting to feel sore from yesterdays games, but I made it back this afternoon for bi's and more cardio

standing bb curls (5 sets) 105lbs
standing alternating curls (4 sets) 40lbs
rope curls (4 sets) 110lbs
1arm preacher curls (4 sets) 50lbs

cardio

did not go too heavy but felt strong for some reason. I am liking the hy-x right now as there are no more tingles, but I feel a slight energy boost. Coupled with DCP has been a nice combo so far
 
evidently something from dinner was not sitting too well this morning so I bypassed cardio this am. I will still get to the gym this afternoon and do back. Will also double up on cardio tomorrow and sunday.
 
I decided that since I was still feeling under the weather I was going to take the day off. I will be back tomorrow hopefully at full strength

got back for some shoulders, and while not feeling overly strong did have a decent workout.

Again, felt good, not great but that is from the brief stomach bug, it had to be something to make me miss lifting
 
Had a great arm workout this afternoon. Also, found some on sale whey protein with some extras. Got a fathers day check from my mother and it got me two 2lbs containers of body fortress advanced whey, it has a solid nutritional profile and is pretty good for post workout. :)

awesome workout considering it was later than I wanted. However, the pump was insane, very pleased ovrall with duration, pump and strength. One of my best to date in this log. Didnt get to go in for cardio this am, my wife and daughter made me a huge breakfast of eggs, bacon (a little cheating damnit) and pancakes. tomorrow more intense cardio to work that off

Don't worry about the bacon. All the fat cooks off, or atleast that's what I tell myself :) Also had some blueberry pancakes today, mmmm good!

Felt good, strength was comparable to where I would expect it, felt good and energized yet again

upd the dose of hyx to 6 and was really buzzing a bit. had a solid workout, good sweating which is always a positive. Will keep it at this dose the rest of the way

felt pretty good. went a little lighter on many exercises just for variety. I only have about 10 days left of hy-x, and I have been impressed with it, more than anything that I feel very energized while using it
 
thanks man, I decided to give the double cardio today a rest and will hit it this afternoon for 45 minutes. my body was telling me sleep was too important this am.
 
I definitely know how that feels. After a big workout, I just cant get up in the morning. And then I feel sore and tired all day. Like today for example. lol. I just wanted to call into work and explain to them that I had a big workout last night and won't be in for a few hours due to the need for rest. I don't think that would have gone over well though.
 
usually work is not too appreciative of it all. I do have to say I feel very rested which was a nice change of pace.
